So basically the answer is the game wins because icd quits. Woohoo!

As an ex mod who was present and involved in the development of this morale formula undeath has it right. The reason I would suggest the other mods aren't posting is much like why I haven't so far, undeath has covered the salient points.

Playing the same way with the new system will be boring because of a level of equality. It's deliberately weighted for the small guy to attack the big guy, encourage the harder fight with the bigger gains rather than the easy fight with the smaller gains. Heck,  instant strategy, kill your pop bankers pop and suddenly have a world of targets.

I leave you with this: "Adapt or perish, now as ever, is nature's inexorable imperative." - H. G. Wells

Seems to me if a player 35 percent of your nw is taking your planets then they aren't adequately protected and you deserve to lose them.

What a (carrot) way to act. The mods work hard in their own time trying to fix these things,  threats like that just make them wonder why they bother. If that's your attitude the game is probably better without you. Looks from kt's post like there was an honest stuff up in the setting up phase. There are better ways to present your complaint and not come out looking like a 2 year old that didn't get their way having a tantrum.

Dimensions for the picture can only be a maximum of 80p x 80p. It's a very small picture.

Very eloquent whiner. Grammar and spelling are important, even the uneducated whiners should know that. For the record, don't cheat and you won't get banned. For you to be banned there is conclusive proof. Enough said I think.

I call you a whiner and your response is to whine more. Good job ICD, thanks for proving my point.

As someone who is no longer a mod I can say this freely. You are a whiny piece of crap ICD. It's always someone else's fault when you do badly. You are always innocent when you get caught red handed cheating. Bull. It's not the first time you've been caught cheating and no doubt won't be the last. Further, you don't get to demand the way your punishment for cheating happens. The rules are clear about the response to your cheating.

Honestly, if you do leave it's probably a good thing for the game. Everyone has had enough of your crap. Good riddance I say.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone as I retire from modding. It's been a great experience and I've enjoyed being able to (I hope) assist the community in some small way. The time has come for me to spend more time with my family and less time with this game. I know some of you will be happy to see the back of me, for those that aren't good luck in the coming years and your future endeavours.

Take care out there.

Again, apologies for the delay. We are currently in the process of an overhaul of the morale system to try and prevent the issues of the last few rounds. We're hoping to reset soon.

Because a forum ban is for all forums on the board. Given that the family forums are also on the same board that happens. Discussion has been held into ways to fban from certain areas only but in all that would likely cause more issues so it's kept simple. Easiest way to not get fbanned and therefore to not lose access to your family forums is to obey the forum rules.

I'm going to respond to this in short. Firstly, the rules are available here. Included in those rules is the note:

Rule book wrote:

In addition, using ways of abusing the game or site not directly covered by the rules may also be reason enough for deletion of accounts.

These rules are subject to change.

Therfore, the block you are obliquely referring to is justified in accordance with the rules.

Secondly, as to questions of lawfulness. There was a direct infringement of copyright and the owner of that copyright is entitled to demand the breached material be handed over. If,  for example, I started selling Big Macs just outside of mcdonalds then mcdonalds would have every lawful right to take action to prevent the unlawful beach of copyright.

As for further discussion on this matter, it would be a clear beach of forum rules. For that reason I'm closing this thread.

The problem with removing ingame pnaps is people will pnap anyway, then they'll complain when someone breaches it and demand mod intervention. Personally, and especially with the player pool left, I think pnaps should be banned and looked at like a form of IA, because with the amount of players left 2 pnaps leaves one option left to attack.
