If this was to happen,

I would suggest that the map does not wrap around and the fighting happens east to west.

Anyone else up for it?

A lot of people leave due to having an inactive family, this would help that problem.

or, how about 5 families instead? 2 families only makes communication difficult, whereas 5 spreads the people out more

You could have all the  fams on the west side of the map against all the fams on the east or north against the south.
   Each side would have to pick a leader. Mabe have a couple civil wars  befor the main event.

2v2 might help out with communication and be a bit more strategic.

I think a map based on the "Big Bang" rather than the "Big Loop" theory would make it a lot more interesting.

There would be a proper font line to defend rather than getting attacked from all angles.

Also people who prefer the infra side of the game can be nicely tucked up at the sides of the maps.

It also might damper the frustration of "farming" "morale & "vulturing"

Do any mods know if this is possible?

I really like that idea.

It would be great if the mods had far more control over how to set up rounds, that we could have "None Loop Galaxies" or even king of the hill / last man standing / different family sizes / but I know mods are limited on what they can change.

I like the idea of having a proper "Front Line" but I am guessing that would make "Spread" a thing of the past and that most families would turtle.    I think it would be interesting to try, I'd be game.
