I agree with Render, this is just some silly censoring.

"    Swear word violation -1 for each violation within a post, to a maximum deduction of -5.  Maximum will result in an Official Warning."
This is just silly and childish. People should know for themselves to keep swearing to a minimum, and I myself do not see the odd curseword every now and then as a problem. Some curse words have become socially accepted even, or at least amongst the younger demographics. Language is always changing, and so are the definitions of words and their intended purpose. (example: words like "gay", "shit", and in some contexts "[BLAM]" (what the [BLAM], etc.). Now don't -1 me for each of these, I'm trying to be serious about the consequences of producing such vague rules >_<)

"    Official Warning (Qualitative, based on nature of post). -5"
Warnings are based on the subjective view of (forum) mods, or is there a list of hard indications for official warnings? If not, I'd work to make one first before giving such consequences to something entirely subjective.

Seems far too harsh and unnecessarily general. Making any use of swear words punishable by loss of tag points makes gathering tag points a near impossible thing to accomplish, eventually causing people to just give up all together.

Also, a deduction of 5 tag points for some offenses? Ridiculous! 5 tag points takes years to accumulate at current speeds, it's not fair to suddenly deduct 5 for using 5 (or more) swear words (or you'd have to make it easier to gain tag points...).

Wat the [karaoke], I do not know where this sudden 180 to bandwagon me came from... but I asure you it would have ended the same way as now: 2 townies down.

I would like to know what the whole reasoning was to bandwagon me?

Although, not that I care a whole lot... this game of mafia is shit anyways and I'm struggling with keeping any activity.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

sorry RD just isnt actvie enough to even vote.. tongue

[Jump and shout at] you at least I know how to play this game properly and am, when I am not mob, an asset to the town (when I try!).
I'm playing in PW at the moment so I'll likely be a bit more active this round of mafia than I would usually be with a town role...

Oh and Alundra, I wouldn't call last round "lucky" -.-'. Nor did I get lucky this round, sadly... It's going to be a struggle to remain active, although above mentioned pw fam should help slightly.

My vote is for TBO for his usual douchebaggery and for how detrimental he generally is to town, even when he is townie.

EDIT: Teh naughteh word

Is Milky Way the new Pinwheel? Perhaps slightly so. Although when I joined the game, which was not too long ago for those who remember, Pinwheel had a decent amount of wars. I will never forget crashing Flashy's droids in my 2nd round during my first cancellation war against him, HappyJedi and my buddy Ariana.

My first few MW rounds I was drafted in mid round to help out with some wars, but it didn't really seem such a higher level than in Pinwheel. The first few full rounds I played, I was HC attacking, planning eco and leading, my fams would be top 5 consistently (unless I became disinterested, although it is not much anymore and neither was it really at the time even though gals were a bit bigger). Mind you, I had only finished around 4 full rounds of IC at this time. However, I grew fed up with MW due to all of the foul play: nap breaks, nap voids, farming... all the likes which I had not experienced as much in Pinwheel.

Then when I returned to Pinwheel, around the time when you were allowed to play in both gals, I welcomed the nostalgic feeling and loved playing with the small, loyal Pinwheel group again. However, I was shocked by the way some families played. I think the recent influx of MW players had caused some of the fams to adapt, what I hold as, MW strategies. Not only had poppers become more important, if not vital, to families (a change I myself was one of the first to implement), also was the foul, MW play becoming more prevalent. At this point I was winning rounds (in both PW and MW), trying to keep to some honorable play with my fams, although some of my wins were taken from me due to families simply farming themselves past my fam in ranks.

So, is Milky Way the New Pinwheel? Not completely. Milky Way lacks the nostalgia, and still contains more of the foul play that I dislike. However, it has weakened down a bit when it comes to what some people hold as the pinnacle of IC fun: the cancellation war. Perhaps the change the other way around has been more radical. So, another question should be, has Pinwheel become the new Milky Way? Of course not, but it has taken over some of MW's negative sides...

Yeah, you have to re-do the "mark as read" in one of the subforums and then it'll mark them all as read again.

Minor bug.

I don't see it on any of the blue bars :\

Ugh and I WAS gonna play my usually "inactive townie" to cover up being gf... As everyone knows I am most active when I get assigned a special role. Logging in to call in a kill and check up with fellow mobbies, I find a message that I have been killed preemptively. Guess that plan backfired quite a bit. hmm

^That is bullshit. The extension is meant to break ties, there are no such rules regarding whether the tie breaker extension is only open to people who have previously voted in the regular fase. I don't care whether you count it as a missed vote (as I was in fact late), but the vote itself should still count.

Even if my vote was a throwaway vote.
