Keerb sobbed to himself heavily over a bottle of scotch. He couldn’t stop staring at the wedding picture of he and his dead wife.

“Keerb honey, where are you?” Said Keerb’s wife.
“Up here honey!”
Keerb’s wife went upstairs and found Keerb in a zebra print thong and leather hat. He was oiled up and lying on the bed.

Keerb’s wife smiled and joined him stripping off her own clothes. After 30 minutes of love making Keerb fell into a deep sleep.

“AHHHHHHHHHHH”

Keerb woke up startled. He struggled to pull on his jeans and ran downstairs where his wife was being mauled to death by a Rage infected arsy. He called her name but it was too late. Her head had been ripped clean off. Arsy looked at Keerb and ran at him. Keerb pulled a photo from the wall and hit arsy in the face knocking him back down the stairs. With one last glance at his dead wife, he ran back towards the room and locked the door. He looked around for a way out and decided to jump out of the window. Those were the last moments he spent with his wife.


(present time)

Keerb took a last swig of his drink and wiped his eyes. He put a pistol to his head and let out a deep sigh.



BANG!

“What was that?”
“It came from in there!”

The soldiers kicked down Keerb’s apartment, weapons drawn. There was no rage infected in the room. Just a poor dead citizen who couldn’t stand it anymore.

Jack’s wife stopped to gas up at a nearby gas station after knocking out the crazed fireman. She kept her shotgun close to her side as she took slow steady steps towards the entrance. She peered through the windows and around back, making sure things were clear. Not a soul was around. The door was unlocked as she crept in and switched on the pumps. The store still had electricity which was good because she was not only low on supplies, but also nutrients. She went over to the microwave and popped in a frozen dinner. She set it for 3 minutes while she looked around and gathered some things. She went back to the counter and found a handgun and some extra ammunition below one of the shelves.  Perfect. When she stood back up she saw TBO stumbling in. He looked at her, saw the gun in her hand and the shotgun over near the microwave. She watched his eyes and pointed the gun towards him. No words were said. They stared each other down for what seemed like an eternity.
DING. The microwave completed its cycle. Jack’s wife fired 3 times. All to the chest. TBO struggled desperately for his breath but died seconds later. Jack’s wife stepped over him, gathered her food and supplies and gassed her car as if nothing happened. She wondered why a citizen would stray so far from the quarantine zone. Perhaps he was the owner of the gas station. Maybe next time she’ll ask before she shoots.

The fireman woke up and found himself lying on the ground in front of the warehouse where he last attacked Jack’s wife. He raged and raged at the fact that she was no longer around. He looked around and struggled to get her scent again but nothing. He banged on the warehouse door and surprisingly it opened up. He ran inside the dark warehouse and crashed into a stack of boxes.

There was a slow clap echoing from the distance.
“You Rage infected must lose your intelligence after you turn.”
The fireman began beating himself in the chest and head with mad rage. He couldn’t see anything. He ran around aimlessly but couldn’t decipher the origin of the voice.
“Oh don’t bother, if I wanted to be caught it would have happened already. Anyway, I’ll be leaving now. This area is getting too crowded. Luckily I have a few more spots to hide in. Be seeing you.”
Nolio’s laughter grew softer and softer as he walked away from some unknown place. The fireman raged more and more. He was thirsty for blood. He wanted to feel soft human flesh between his teeth. He screamed and screamed and screamed. He tore the warehouse apart looking for someone to kill.

Also Keerb and Testudinae's votes were late so weren't added. Keerb won't be penalized for missing the lynch. Torqez was killed for being a complete no show in both the forum and chat. Otherwise only missing two consecutive lynches will cause you to be mod killed. That is all.

Oxygen couldn’t take it anymore. He had to get out of the city. He had been talking with his good buddy Torqez about the shipyard. They figured they could stay to the outskirts where there were less population and find a ship and sail to an island where there would be sexy women and seclusion. It was a great plan. They gathered some materials, flashlights, rope, matches, canned food, water, batteries and other things and headed out. Torqez knew when the military watch would change shifts and they made their move. It was about a 7 mile trek north but they managed it pretty well by doing as planned and staying to the outskirts of former civilization. They risked going into an old hardware store to get some supplies and didn’t run into any Rage infected. Once they got to the ship yard, Oxygen stood watch as Torqez scouted a good boat. Fortunately there was a 17 footer that still had the keys inside of it. There was also a supply of liquor and ammunition with no signs of anyone around. Torqez loaded up the equipment and started up the boat.

Oxygen was untying the boat from the docks when they came. 9 Rage infected came out from nowhere and ran towards him full speed. Torqez called for Oxygen to hurry as the boat began to move. Oxygen was too slow, the boat was already in the water and moving from the docks. He tried to swim for it but the rage infected caught up to him and pulled him down. Torqez screamed Oxygen’s name but there was no response. A pool of blood began to form in the ocean. At least…..one citizen got away.

The rain pit pattered to the ground and lightning flashed across the gray skies. There was no one outside on this cold dark afternoon except Jack's wife, still searching for a save haven until she could plan a new coarse of action. She was still well outside of the military quarantine zone and most of the surrounding areas were deserted. The fireman had seen her. How could he mistake her familiar scent. A scent that he knew all too well. It enraged him like none other. She was attempting to pry open a warehouse door when she felt his energy.

She turned and there, in the rain, drenched from head to toe in filth and blood was the fireman. He was beating himself in the face and gesturing towards her. Normally all others would be shook in fear but she despised him. He ran towards her but she pulled out her shotgun and fired off a round. She missed him but he kept coming. He dove towards her but she sidestepped him and clubbed him in the back of the head with the butt of her gun. She was going to finish him off then and there but she couldn't afford to waste any more shells until she found somewhere safe to hide out and reload her ammunition and food supply. She took to the streets again and jumped into her stolen car.

Jack's wife realized that things were getting serious. The Rage infected seemed to be following her every move.


Explanation: The Fireman has the ability to lure anyone into an area and kill them during the day. The only one immune to this effect is Jack's Wife due to her personal involvement with the members of the jack infested.

“HydroP! Honey dinner is ready.” She said.

She had completely forgotten that he was murdered by that strange woman. Their family burial plots in the backyard held the proof of his demise yet she couldn’t remember why her dress was covered in fresh earth. Her condition appeared to worsen in these trying times. Her short term memory deteriorated with each passing day.

“HydroP! Come get supper now.” She called out to him once more.
There was yet again no answer. She went out to the barn where he loved to spend time with the animals every now and then. Maybe he was milking the cows. Silly man. She passed by the animals one by one and noticed movement at the end. The animals were restless tonight, causing quite a stir which was unnatural.

“Hydro, honey, don’t you rile up the animals. Come on in and have something to eat.”
Hydro stepped out from the horse area. He stood in place and stared at her hunched over breathing heavily. She placed her hand on her hip and raised her lantern. It wasn’t HydroP…..
Evilrunt screamed but was too frozen to move. The scream set Jack off and he leapt upon her in 3 short steps. He pulled her arm out of its socket and beat her to death with it. He clawed her face with his bare hands and licked up the blood from her wounds. He ate his fill and ran off again into the distance.

Evilrunt, wife of HydroP, died 24 hours after her husband was brutally murdered. In life they never spent more than 2 days apart. In death, it appears nothing has changed.

It was dark, quiet and aside from the patrols circling the military quarantine zone, no one was awake or outside. No one except for Einstein. He couldn’t sleep. He went for a walk to clear his head. The love of his life was dead, tragically killed a week ago when the rage virus struck his home. If only he hadn’t opened the door for that little boy. To hell with that kid. Every night the same nightmare, the same screams in his head. He took the south stairwell to the roof of his assigned apartment complex and looked out at the ledge. The city looked calm and beautiful but it was all an illusion. He knew what lied beyond the quarantine zone. A patrol officer came up behind him and put a gun to the back of his head.

“Let me see those hands! Let me see them!”
Einstein complied and slowly turned around.

“I’m sorry I just…” Einstein said
“Damnit, don’t talk! This is curfew! No one is to be out!”
Einstein laughed and tried to explain. “Yeah I was just..”

“Shut up, just shut up!” Said the patrol  officer.
Einstein became frustrated at this rookie’s lack of patience.
“Listen! I am trying to tell you that…” Einstein was cut off again.
“Are you raging?!?”
“What the hell are you talking about!? Do you know the probability of me having the virus? WHO IS YOUR SUPERVISOR?!” Shouted Einstein
The patrol officer answered with a hollow point between Einstein’s eyes. He would not take any chances of a contamination in the quarantine zone. There was just something suspicious about this guy. Upon examination, he found the victim’s blood to be a shade of purple. He may not have been a Rage infected, but he was definitely a Carrier of the trait.

HydroP….

Back in 1940 he was a professional boxer. Could knock the wind out of a rhino without blinking an eye. He boxed golden gloves before enlisting in the service. He fought to defend his country as any self righteous man would. He almost singlehandedly took down hitler himself if it weren’t for a grenade that exploded nearby which brought down the ceiling around him. When he came to he found that he couldn’t see. His vision was gone. That didn’t stop him from being a farmer though. He went home and took over his parents’ farm after they passed. Even found himself a wife and settled down. HydroP could always do everything with expertise. Even with his vision impaired he still maintained a heightened sense of smell and hearing.

Neither of them helped him this night though. Jack’s wife had been watching the farm for a couple of days hoping for safe refuge.  There only seemed to be an old couple there, easy to take out. She checked her hand gun to make sure the bullets were loaded. Satisfied, she crept up to the porch and knocked on the door. Jack hobbled to the door on his walking stick, shotgun in hand as always. He asked who it was and no one replied. He asked once more, this time cocking his shotgun. Jack’s wife said that she needed help and to please let her in. 

Hydro considered the thought but didn’t feel like this was a person to trust. He opened the door to see if he could get a better idea of what to do about the situation but he didn’t expect to be shot twice in the chest. Back in his prime, he would have taken 4 shots to the body and still had enough strength to return fire before dying. But this wasn’t Hydro in his 20’s. This was a 90 year old man. Killed instantly.  Jack’s wife was about to finish off the old woman but she heard someone rustling in the fields and quickly fled the scene.


He saw her. He could barely contain himself as he smelled her flesh. She was standing in the middle of the road looking lost. He drooled blooded and stared with blood shot eyes. She turned around and saw him at the edge of the street. They made eye contact for a moment. Xara’s mouth opened in a wide O and she turned to run. Jack, in a rage took off after her. Xara wasn’t very athletic and tripped over some debris in the street. She began crawling, not thinking to get back up. Jack pounced on her and ripped into her neck with his teeth. He put his fingers in her eyes as he ate at her flesh and drank her blood. Xara’s screams pierced the night but no one heard her. She was too far away from the military quarantine zone and it was after curfew. Fortunately Xara wasn’t a carrier so her death would at least be final.

A virus outbreak occurred in europe which caused the infected citizens to act maniacally harming anyone who didn’t show any symptoms of the “rage” virus so it was deemed. After millions of dollars in damage and a city wide lockdown, the military was able to contain and eliminate the infected and thus contained the virus….or so they thought. 28 months later Jack came home from work early and found his wife in bed with 3 other men. He went ballistic, throwing things around and yelling obscenities while the men continued to pleasure his wife, ignoring his presence. Unable to control himself, he began biting one of the men. Being that he was always ridden with 2 strands of syphilis, herpes and a unique strand of tuberculosis, his adrenaline mixed in with the blood and semen of the men he bit merged with his own infected DNA and transformed him into a blood thirsty animal. His wife left the room frantic and locked herself in another room. She called the police and reported that her husband was dripping blood from his eyes and foaming at the mouth. By the time the police arrived, they found blood everywhere and severed limbs but no trace of Jack.

ROLES

Rage Infected Humans – Looking to kill any survivor caught in the road

- Jack

Cannot be investigated at night since he is a carrier of the Rage virus.

- The Neighbor

Before he was turned, he was a gardener. The Rage virus gave him a keen sense of smell. He smells blood and has the ability to sniff out a person and discover where they will be at night.

- The Garbageman

He was always very disgusting as a garbage man and being turned into a blood drinking, limb devouring killing machine hasn't made him any more appealing. Anyone who attacks him at night will be repelled. This can only happen once.

- The Fireman

The Fireman was always known for being a charmer. This is how he was able to attract the wife. He has a natural ability for luring a person into his grasp. For one day phase, he will call out to a citizen and kill them.





Military Researcher

She is in a lab working on a cure but can’t save anyone who has been bitten already. She can only find someone with the carrier trait who is still sane and develop a cure from there blood sample. Once she finds the cure, she will be able to save anyone attacked by a Rage or Venom. But she cannot save a Venom if attacked by a Rage. (Pro-Town)

Jack's Wife

She is seeking to kill all of those infected with the Rage disease in an attempt to fix her curse on society. Every other night she will hunt and kill someone she believes to be infected. The other nights she will gather evidence of someone she believes to be infected. She cannot be accepted into society due to her inadvertent creation of the Rage virus. She cannot be killed by the Rage infected given the fact that she is intimately involved with them but she can be eaten by the Venom infected. (Neutral/SK)

Pro Athlete

Will knock out anything that gets in his way as he attempts to get out of the country. He will join any group that manages to subdue him. If he is attacked by the Rage infected humans, he will then join them and develop the ability to survive any lynch or attack for at least one phase due to his enhanced strength.

If he is found by a group of people fighting the Rage infected humans, he will then develop the hero complex and sacrifice his own life to protect any one person of his choosing (permanent choice) against an attack against the infected. (Pro-Town/Neutral/Mafia)


Old Man and Old Wife farmer

They own a farm and will take in anyone who is looking for safe haven for one night and one day. The Old man is blind but relies on his walking stick and shotgun for safety. Anyone he chooses to sleep in for the night will remain in the barn safe from any danger. He cannot see their face so for one time and one time only, he will give them food and shelter and they are gone forever by sunrise.
The old woman is kind, warm hearted but suffers from alzheimers. She chooses one person randomly by number and that person is spared from being lynched during the day time as she attempts to hide them in the attic. (Pro-Town)

Abandoned Soldier –

He suffers from post traumatic stress disorder after losing the majority of his unit to the Rage infected 3 months ago. In that unit was his twin brother and only family left. He has taken refuge in an abandoned grocery store, eating and drinking whiskey while waiting for word from his general about his orders. He has run out of medication and if he doesn’t get any help from the military researcher within 3 days or isn’t killed, he will kill everyone who has voted for him in any order, 1 *day* at a time based on his own choice. (Neutral/Protown)

General

The General is the leader of the military and has the ability to recruit citizens to carry out missions. Once a night he can have a citizen watch over another citizen to determine if they are a Rage infected. He has no research on Venom infected so any data on a Venom infected citizen will prove inconclusive. If he contacts the Soldier, he can give the Soldier orders to go on a suicide mission and kill anyone at any time of the day or night by charging into them with a grenade. He cannot help the Soldier's medical issues.(Pro-Town)

Nolio

Nolio tried to warn everyone about Rage aka the failster syndrome, but nobody bothered to listen and found themselves in an apocalypse. Nolio is the country’s only hope for survival. He cannot be killed at night because that is when his senses are heightened. His knowledge of the Rage virus is extensive and with it he has developed a strategy to stay safe from the infected. He has taken great offense to everyone ignoring him so he refuses to share his knowledge with the military researcher and won’t help her develop a cure. However he has agreed to show her how to keep safe at night if she will cooperate with his demands. (Pro-town)



Citizens:

The military has issued a country wide state of alert and has ordered everyone to remain indoors until the situation is contained. Citizens have for the most part, have gathered in houses and some in military bunkers to stay safe from the outbreak. Every now and then some of them go out to look for family. Unfortunately nobody really knows what happened to Jack and why those infected by his virus go so insane. The citizens are divided into two groups. Normal citizens and carriers.

Normal Citizens

They are everyday people who suddenly found themselves overrun by these hideous, disgusting, gruesome creatures of the night called Rages. (Pro Town)

The carriers are those who could potentially become Venoms if they are attacked by a Rage infected.
Of the 13 citizens of the town, 4 are carriers.

Carriers

If bitten will die, but they will revive and become a Venom infected. Venom is the sister virus of the Rage virus. Venom infected are unpredictable and vicious and are required to be brought down asap. They cannot be cured, cannot be saved, cannot be detected, cannot be reasoned with. They must be killed by being burned with hydrochloric acid as a bullet or fire or blunt force trauma is ineffective. This can only be done in the day time. The Ex-Soldier has managed to acquire a few flasks of hydrochloric acid so in the event that he doesn’t die and goes on a murderous rampage he will have no problems bringing them down. Carriers cannot succumb to the Venom infection if they are lynched by a Rage infected. They have to be bitten at night for the blood to mix and develop the Venom virus. Once they become a Venom infected citizen, the attack on their life will remain hidden to all but the Rage infected. (Pro-Town/Mafia)



The game is over when:

1 - The Rages kill everyone
2 - The Venoms kill everyone
3 - The Soldier kills everyone assuming he turns rogue
4 - The Pro Athlete doesn't join any group and is the last man standing

Flint you told me you were cop day 1. For no reason I might add. Even when arby told me you were mob I never outed you even though I didn't trust you. You told me and I have the logs that Oxygen was investigated and cleared. You told me that TBO was NOT mob. You lied and told everyone that I was the godfather when I clearly wasn't. Now you're telling everyone that I might be mob again and that I should die for your greater good. THAT is the reason I'm protesting. Also, Flint's post about me is a lie. Flint didn't distance himself from me. I stopped communicating with him when he told me that he was cop and that both Oxygen and TBO weren't mob. And then it turns out that they both were. On top of that, arby told me that Flint was not the cop and that he was in fact mob.

Poley, xara all but admitted to being mob. And again, I don't know Hydro's role but I DO know that he would never be apart of a mob that has made such poor decisions. This is what I mean when I say that the town is dumb. You have a yellow and blue crayon in front of you and still can't figure out how to make green smh

Yeah, because I don't like being thrown under the bus when I have the doc and cop telling me in pm that the other is mob and not to trust the other. And then they turn around and call me mob. Its stupid. No matter how you look at it.
