Things intended to fix the economy haven't worked... perhaps something intended to damage the economy will.  All I know is I am going to be buying up some stock if we do go off the cliff.

I hope you don't fix cars for a living!

"Hmm... okay, so fixing the breaks didn't solve the problem.  Repairing the steering didn't solve the problem.  Maybe if we hit it with a freight train, the car will work!"

No, as in "Flint would not kill an Al Qaeda member while that guy is at a mosque worshipping."

Okay, so when you say "church goers," you mean "people who are actually in the process of attending mass," rather than "people who attend mass," correct?

It's from Fox, so it's inherently biased.

How do you explain that?  Are you taking the stand that military conflict is never in any case necessary?

Dpeng, consider this your final warning.  Racism is NOT allowed.  You know the rules.  Play by them.

Oh, and moving this to politics because there were maybe 4 posts here that weren't political, this one included.  tongue

It might also be good to post a relative schedule of when the day/night phases would occur.  Much of the problem of inactive players last game was due to the sudden change of the time the lynch votes occurred (notice the number of Americans who were inactive that game?)

can I make a suggestion though?  last time the inactives were a pain for everybody.  is it possible that they are killed ALONG with the lynch target instead of in place of?

This!  The town generally gets about half its information based on the lynch votes.  Without actual votes, no information is gained, and thus the town is behind a day or two, putting the mob at a clear advantage.

How do you type something on a forum as "off the record?"

Being posted in the galaxy is very different from being posted during sign-ups, when people can decide before the round starts "Hey, I probably won't be online then!  I shouldn't sign up to begin with, and therefore ever be able to see any sort of post in Triangulum which would inform me of my inability to participate!"

In the future, the schedules may want to be posted in advance so players will know beforehand whether or not they can actually show up for the day phase votes.
