Obama has said (and I fully agree) that we need to find other resources other than oil to build and support our economy with. Atm, if all it takes to cripple our economy is soaring oil prices, then we really aren't that big of a nation after all.

Flint, your story is ridiculous btw. The situation would be more like:

You are the #1 family in IC and the #35 family is 12 ticks from you.

One guy goes rogue and nukes a banker destroying tax offices and running fighters.

The leader of the #1 family spends the whole family's economy and jumps fleet to retaliate. He goes to uni news and complains and asks for illegal alliances and then goes to the #35 ranked family's core and rapes them.

The little family does retakes and stuff but the big family keeps on running fighters, stationing ground, destroying units and planting nukes. The big family finds morale planets but the little family won't let the big family have them. The big family keeps spending resources to get the morale planets but the small family has nothing to lose because the big family will just keep taking more and more so they just keep fighting.

The #1 family eventually loses a lot of infra, pop and stops growing. They fall to #10. The small family drops to #40 but they keep fighting. Meanwhile, other families in IC don't want to trade on the market with the #10 family.

So basically everyone in the #10 family wants to get back to the top and they want a new leader. One guy wants to lead but says "ok, lets keep trying to get those morale planets."

The other guys says "Ok, forget the morale planets. Lets sign a nap and build infra"
