My only comments on Sir Cookie's comments are:

1) An absolutely retarded nap was signed early in the round that allowed 09/36 to explore anywhere, and 23 to explore only S1 and 2... that dooms most families to lose a cancellation war, though it wasn't because of laziness or incompetence (other than the nap signing) that lead to 36/09 all over cores.

2) This round was over a long time ago, and 36/09 played well.  They may have won anyway, but I do believe that the inequities of positioning like 36 had should be addressed in future rounds, as it gives a phenomenal advantage.

Oh well, hopefully the next will be better.

I'm not saying that they have to be 100% the same, but the inequities this round were exceptional.  Again, I am not complaining about 36's style of play or talent, just commenting that one family had no other family within 20-25 ticks, while other families had 7-8 families within 10 ticks.

Over time, yes, but being allied to a family with the best positioning in the gal doesn't hurt... had you been allied to another family, things may have been different.

As before, I am not criticizing your performance in 09 in any way, just pointing out that SOME of the wide inbalance of the round can be attributed to the most random positioning on any map I have ever played in the 8-9 years I have been playing.

My opinion is 3409 had 2nd or 3rd best starting location

The positioning does seem a little odd, but at least you no it was fair and random, if you're family had been in that position it would have been different for you guys perhaps, you can only deal with where you start

36/09 do seem like the best fams and allied, they were probably bound to win, but I've seen some other fams with good attackers and I see much smaller fams with huge bankers, maybe contact some players and see if they'd be interested in giving 09/36 a run for their money next round

And it seems like your leader was worried about 09/36 with that NAP so made concessions, in my opinion, you always fight before you NAP, you might just find that you gain a bit of respect/a bit of extra space that way. Just because you are smaller, doesn't mean you can't be a massive pain in the bum
