Topic: Internet piracy
Wow the different efforts of different nations is getting most interesting
England is using a 3 strikes rule, then no internet ever
Sweden is using criminal law and putting Pirate Bay founder in jail as well as fining him millions
The United States slaps on $30,000 per a song fines to a person for hosting Torrents
Other nations are moving forward with strong anti-piracy languages.
I think the sleeping beast is awakening, and the pendulum is swinging hard the other way now... It will be painful for the hacking kiddies who think they can 'try a game to see if it is fun, then discard it if not'... but also share with anyone else who wants to 'try the game for 6 months'. I think also those who think artists make to much money are going to have to put up, or shut up... and totally not listen to the artists they think are taking to much money, or pay cash for that single song they want. I-Tunes anyone?
I guess I am saying, for Torrent Toddlers 'May you live in interesting times'
