The NAP was cancellable as a 48h NAP is, but it has a 48h expiration period. So if that is the real story then 49 assumed things, just like your alliance assumed things previously.

To me, the most annoying thing is 3157's family name. It is not possible to be any more disrespectful in IC. And this is only relevant because of who's in there, who is a good friend of mine and a person i very much respect in IC. But this is wrong.

If 57 had attacked before 48 hours of the "hereby" statement then ofc it was a major Nap break.. but they had the right to fight after the 48 hours if you think about it..

What is bad is this simple fact: there were supposed to be 2 big cancellation wars this round, 57/52 vs 54/41 and 57/52 vs 49/56. Look how they all turned out

Due to several core breaches and unresponsiveness from 3157 leader i would like to inform you that we are hereby cancelling our nap agreement. Even tho we have a 48h nap, in the name of fairness i will let you know this early, so make the war more fair.

Official nap cancellation from 21.00 GMT March 8th, Meaning first attack can be made at tick 21.00 GMT March 10th.

Good luck to you and your family, and may we show the galaxy that fun wars can be fought despite all the garbage that has happened in this and the previous round.

Noir it's loophole against loophole.

Everybody understands the meaning of your cancellation. The meaning is you wanted to give us 96hrs instead of 48hrs to prepare for war.
You write "hereby cancelling" and "Even tho we have a 48h nap...".  there are basically two cancellations in your message, immediate in the first sentence and 48hr later in two days... if looking for loopholes it could be interpreted like that.

Same to the nap between 57/52 and 49/56. The meaning was to fight at 15th of march because then all main attackers could be online and both families agreed and choose that date. But then looking for loopholes you interpreted the written agreement differently, like we interpreted your cancellation differently.

People should learn how to write agreements that are waterproof or just agree on what is really meant by the agreement.
Maybe just write it down what the meaning of the agreement is and both families confirm that they understand and accept the agreement by the meaning and not by different interpretations....

The other possibility is that naps would be prohibited if they are not made ingame. As well there should be a possibility to define a cancellation time that both sides have to agree on and before this cancellation time, no attacks would be possible. The cancellation time could be changed but only by accepting by both sides...

it's the same thing with the 35% rule. it is applied now as well for families and not only for single players. this helped IC a lot.  small families are not farmed anymore by much bigger families. So same thing we need for the relations.
