If no drafts happened this round, then my family would have one attacker/retaker. Thats pretty lame. I'd like to see some statistics, but I know there are very few attackers playing this round, even fewer active ones. I don't wanna pull a number out of the air and guess, but just imagine if you spread those few attackers out over in more fams. It simply doesn't work, your diluting the fams firepower even further.
I, on the otherhand, want the opposite. More guys per family = more attackers per family = some fams can actually compete. There are fams this round who haven't even retook planets they have lost, so further reducing the number of players (and in turn attackers) per family and increasing the number of these incompetent fams is not going to make this game good.
I just want x amount of fams who can compete, not roll over and die. With larger fam numbers, your going to get at least one decent attacker per family and offer some competition this round.
If this 18 man 4 draft doesn't come into place, then I suggest 18 man 0 draft which isn't a current option.
If I was in charge, I'd make 16 man though as I think 16 is plently whilst maintaining co-ordination. Although 18 would see the rise of team play and no more fam bank which would be interesting.
