Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

I'll look into that link, thanks for pointing it out.

EDIT: Fixed.  Glad you saw that, that episode is one of my favorates.

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

Enjoy todays episode.  As my GM would say:

"I should lower your level for that bad a pun, but unfortunately there is no level zero."

"You could take away his nobility and make him a commoner," said the warmage.

"I have the template for that."

Beware punnage when playing.

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

Todays episode will not be posted due to family matters.  I would feel bad about it, but as I only have one semi-regular reader, it's not really bothering me.

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

I'm only semi regular cuz i'm on holiday tongue

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

Fair enough.

Edit: I have important news, maybe.  Yahoo has officialy cleared my request to place my site in there search system thingy.  This means a simple search of my website url with Yahoo will bring up my site and the link in IC.

I have no idea why this matters, except it means my site has that much more credibility, maybe.

By the way, I would appreciate constructive feedback about the comic, so I can improve it and any future ones I make.

I find it very interesting that something viewed so often has so few posts or looks at the link.

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

Due to the upcoming Fall semester, the new schedule for posting episodes will be as follows, effective immediately: Tuesday Friday.  This is to ensure that you recieve the comics when scheduled as I will not be able to access my computer on Saturdays and using a flash drive is too much hassle.

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

you need a better way to navigate between strips

Also transition between balloons is rather difficult to follow with such huge blobs of text, feel unnatural sometimes.

Also, lots of grammer and typo mistakes. Or get someone on IRC to proofread them before you post em up

Also, don't reach for the crit fail joke too often

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

I proofread every strip so to be honest any grammar problems you see are probably the character's speech.  Personally I rarely use perfect english when I speak.  However if you could point out these errors I'll look them over, my grammar skills and Word's grammar check are far from perfect.

I'll have to look into the options for the site I got to see about navigation.  Remember anything I use has to be free.  If you know a site that has better navigation and is free, please share smile

Fixed the comic you pointed out, thanks for doing so smile

It kinda depends on house rules.  My Dm has a rule that a natural 20 is an instant crit, and a 1 is an instant fail.  While true these do not happen very often, me and a fellow player nearly died cuz of rolling 1's-he had -2 hp so i had to give him a potion, and turn after that i was down to 1 hp-we were 1st level.  but yeah those are def rare.

still broken for me

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

Have you tried using the site or just the link above?  When I check the site it works.  That is episode 29, right?

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

oh yea, fixed now.

You could work on getting that part of the process automated.
Just a button for archive

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

I found a feature called redirect, but I don't think that's what I need.  I'll need to look through the more advanced features.  By button for archive do you mean a next, previous kind of thing?

"They are calling to us, can you hear them?... It's beautiful," Lieutenant Nathan Hale.

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

No, a button that will take the comic from the frontpage, and move it into another directory. Then create a link for it in the archive.

Also previous and next buttons!

Re: Hoitash webcomic about ze trekkies

I move the comic from the front page to the archive manually, but there may be another way.  As for th buttons, is that an html thing?  Cuz I can do html.  If I have the right coding.
