Topic: Gitmo Detainees and "Pre-Crime"
This is a deplorable change in prisoner policy.
Watch this first, stress first: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jshogbjtYs
For years the policy, indeed most of the worlds policy on prisoners of war is simple. They are not afforded the rights of the nation, but are afforded world treaty rights.
In the world there is no rights afforded terrorists. None beyond an agreement to Red Cross to provide names, and access.
Bush policy has been to treat them as prisoners 'mostly'.
They were put in gitmo cause a ruling by FDR's court requiring prisoners in the United States to get full Constitutional Treatment.
This is of course impossible in a true war. Prisoners were kept in other nations and this was not an issue before
Gitmo is the way way around this 'ruling' with a divided court that would fight Bush just cause he is Bush, just like you fight me cause I am Einstein/Flint.
Now Obama changes his standing in the same speech endlessly, as this editorial shows in great length. He is not sane in the brain to be saying these things, and putting these guys through this.
Pre-crime is what it amounts to, it is correct. Detaining them not for what they did, but what they will do. This is wrong. In war we take prisoners and they may never have fought, may never have held a rifle, may not have even known war was coming, but they are prisoners regardless.
Obama is shifting this to something else altogether to pander [no trolling] his voters. And it makes no sense. They are already detained lawfully and this stands in all jurisdictions except Liberal Courts.
This scary revision would allow Obama to seize anyone on the basis they will commit a crime, but he cannot prove it. Fascism is here if this passes. Only Republicans and Conservatives will be the Jews.
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)
