The party isn't. The party had 20 years to balance the books and only succeeded in putting us deeper in debt. They said that they were "champions" of fiscal responsibility but didn't hold businesses to those same standards. The extremist in the party were the ones that whipped up the party to rubber stamp budgets and policies that they knew weren't responsible fiscal policy.

The ones who lost were the ones who were in line with far extremist right philosophy. Most Americans want a moderate party that won't make the same mistakes over the past 2 decades, especially during the Bush years. I was very disappointed with the party over the Bush years. They stood by and let the president expand the role of government and the office of the presidency and didn't speak up against it. The party knew that the budget wouldn't balance and still pushed through irresponsible tax cuts to make things worse (One of the reasons I liked Bush Sr when he was president).

Actually Google Earth has shown a lot more ice than what has been claimed, to the consternation of Global Warming Idiots. The forced acknowledgments have not been aired ofc, but they had to do some about faces.

Of course this is why they have been trying DESPERATELY (except Al Gore) to claim climate change and 'no no no, global warming is just one aspect of climate change' (Except Al Gore who steadfastly claims we will all be melting like candles eventually).

The Ice Berg claims say less or more, and keep going around, but with deliberate tracking picking up speed the older 'less floes' argument has been disproved, and the newer 'way to many floes' is being shown to be statistically even year to year.
