Topic: The Permament Activist

My fellow conservatives, I implore you to do what I am doing. At every stop, at every chance meeting, at moments in a conversation, and even when making a purchase at a store, I am either mocking the Democrats, in terms a common person can understand, using some of my anti-Democrat jokes, or I am talking against major platforms of the Democrats (Global Warming, Spending programs, Fascism, etc).

It is easy to find a way to relate to anyone out there if you try, and to show them a bad side of the Democrats.

This is a war of politics, and we got lax. We accepted the message that talking politics was bad, while the left never listened to that message.

For our survival, for the survival of our nation, for our children and thier children we must be permanent activists.

The left is ignorant of the growing anger, frustration, and for those who voted Obama thinking of change, the now fear they feel for the future...

We see these hard left here in these forums... we know they cannot answer truth's thrown at them, so they are more likely to troll. But we also can see the growing numbers of new posters in here alone who are more right than left. We must have a permanent voice.

No pacificism in this mission can be accepted. It's either fight hard and with all the tools you got in terms of intellect, verbosity, candor, integrity, volume, and stubbornness to follow through, in words, or we will sadly see fighting with weapons in our near future.

I call upon you to do duty for your nation, and for God. In these troubled days ahead we must continue making moderates into conservatives, liberals into moderates, and conservatives to activist conservatives.

I call upon you to make challenges of your own, to throw down your gauntlets and say "try to defeat this argument!" against these liberals. In time they will either have an emotional breakdown and quit on these forums, or they will start to THINK and therefore start to convert to Conservatism!

We know the proofs, we know that nations trying to do what Obama is doing have ALL failed, and that he is no super man to defy those laws of supply and demand, of the human equation, that he cannot resolve conflicts to which there is no chance for peace.

We know the Laffer curve, we know the difference between medical costs in the United States versus Europe, we know much more than those Liberals who contest us in these forums.

"We declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others, the same word may mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of the other men's labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name --- Liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called two different and incompatible names --- liberty and tyranny."

- Abraham Lincoln, 1864

The American Dream was once a dream to be able, if you desired and worked hard at it, to succeed to the level your skills, imagination, intellect, and marketability would let you. It was also called the dream of owning your own business, your own home, and prospering within this nation, to have a family as you see fit. The left would seek to make this dream the dream of taking the success of others and destroying it. Their new description of the American Dream will be welfare and medicare for all.

Consider well the cost of remaining quiet, of letting them continue to stomp all over us, and all over the Constitution.

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

Re: The Permament Activist

If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this; you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.

PS God is a conservative. He made the death sentence, he believes in punishment for crimes, he believes in religion, he believes in free will, he believes in man and woman, not man and man - woman and woman... and biggest of them all... He does not lie!

Re: The Permament Activist

I'm conservative and I do not believe in God. I also think government exists because there's demand for its services, and it's more practical for some services like defense and administration to have a monopoly.

My entire conservative philosophy can be summarized with four points:

-Poor people are stupid and need to be controlled with an iron fist
-The free market and self reliance must be the economic policy
-Only people who reach a certain income or educational attainment should be allowed to vote
-Practical considerations must come before moral or ideological ones

Re: The Permament Activist

Oh, just to mention. I have a much more relaxed attitude towards the constitution. Some parts I won't compromise on, like the 5th amendment, but other parts I am willing to - like practical limits on freedom speech.

I am indeed a conservative. I can go through and make a list which would make the Ghost of Reagan salute.

Re: The Permament Activist

Reagan was a noob. Henry Kissinger was our last statesman who had any sense.

Please, wtf did Kissinger do?

Re: The Permament Activist

... He reacted appropriately to just about every circumstance he encountered, which were many. To name one example, he pwned Chilean commies. Despite being boggled down in Vietnam, he devised effective strategies to eliminate threats from our peripheral zone, like Chile and East Tumor.

He was so effective at it, that today Liberals fear his name and want him tried for war crimes. What Kissinger did, Bush and now Obama were/are too chicken to do. Kissinger did what was necessary. If he was still the Sec of State, Hugo Chavez would have been taken care of long ago.

Think about it. Liberals fear Kissinger. They laugh at Bush.

Re: The Permament Activist

oh right yeah, he couldn't beat the shit out of 30 million Asian commies with 250,000 troops and 1% of GDP, but he kicked the shit out of east timor...

good thing he had his priorities down

Oh he was doing great against them. He expanded the war in to Cambodian territory that was being used by the Viet Cong for military operations. He gave them no safe haven, and we were close to victory. The problem was that the war had endured for too long under the liberal noobs (Kennedy/Johnson) and it's hard to continue fighting prolonged wars. By the time Kissinger exercised any real power, he was already constrained by popular discontent for a prolonged war. That was a challenge even the best of us would have had trouble contending with, and given his limits I think he did great cutting our losses.

Seriously guys, and surely everyone can agree. Flint is getting more and more mentally disabled by the day =/

Sorry flint but Regan wouldn't have supported half of the things you've supported over the past few years. Nor was Regan himself exactly the perfect "conservative" himself.

What of God was an Atheist?  "Nope.  I don't exist."

By the way, Flint's idea is bad!  Not because of the intent, but because the method is just bad!  I know when I hear... um... just about ANYONE start randomly talking about politics, it's an automatic turn-off to listening to them.  I'm a sucker for any kind of political debate, but when you go to extremes of interrupting everyday life uninvited, it becomes a hindrance to your own cause.
