CAN  someone delete this thread i'm in the getting battered family, it's part of the game, me and matrix have been swapping planets for about 4 days now, he';s stronger and will eventually win but i'm not giving up.

It's the way it is or maybe we have a few suprises in store. (probable not)

its game, losing isnt a big deal, either just wait for next round or fight hard to the end, if you are not having fun in this game, winning or losing maybe you should considering quitting.

Smoke. I appreciate the shout out in your first post.
But to clarify:


1) You're misusing the term vulture. Allies can 2v1 any fam they want, probably not the most honorable thing, but it's not vulturing. If they in fact started the fight that's pretty low.

2) But how big was the scale of the fight? They might've declared purely for morale purposes while clearing systems. I've seen it hundreds of times before

3) You need to know how to go about this. Your family has no chance to win outright, but u can inflict enough damage to deter further attacks.  Think of them as America and you are the Viet Cong. (sic) Have your largest guy start harassing their small guys, jump someone to nuke, maybe change allies to someone who has a grudge against one of those fams and is ranked maybe 10 spots above your current allies. If worse comes to worse and you have no options left. DON'T make a thread like this, the people in UNI will immediately label you a whiner/sore loser which is not a title you wanted to be branded with. Do it the smart way, talk to friends in high places and casually mention you're getting farmed by fams 3x your size. Most top families with honor will get pissed and attack them on principle, without you even asking. And see this is different from IA, because they are attacking on the principle the other fam is trying to steal a top 10 spot by bashing newbie families. It's a cheap way to make the top 10 in size, and if someone in a top 10 fam was in a NON-NAPped position they might attack them just for being pussies... I've seen people do it before. And I know I'll catch a lot of shit about IA and vulturing and etc, but we've all seen this happen.

So Sm0ke, basically, there isn't much you can do no matter what, but this is a bad avenue to pursue. because I have personally hit fams 3x harder for whining on Uni News than I normally would as I think they're trying to smear my name.

Isn't 39 allied with 33?? In that case it would be 2v1.1 in 39 and 33's favor. 59 is just being picked on then. They have all been tenacious though. Most of their fam is to small to hit now. Where is the fun in that?

As Emo stated it was simply a core cleaning which someone *cough* 39/33 took as a war. 33 broke a NAP agreement (exploring and possesing planets north of the 99y axis, Which was an agreement we granted them as they were small and complained in Uni when we took 4 planets from them at the beginning of the round. See thread by ORCS. They broke the NAP with over 50+ planets north of that y axis so I llowered the axis to 103 as comp and told them to hand over the 76 total planets they explored in and around our cores or loss them by force. And so we took them.)
Moving along 39 is their allies. They had worked their way north so as we were clearing 33 we cleared 39...We intended no war 39 lost 20-25 planets in the clearing and now they are complaining.
To be honest it's a 39 & 33 vs. 59 & Matrix.

And we are not looking for this war...We wanted to clear 39 and take comp from 33 for breaking a NAP agreement (to which they signed).

I'd almost be willing to smack 1733 and 1739 around for complaining this much about it after seeing this. But I know 1733 hasn't really been complaining, and 39 is just not working with their allies right...

It is, however, kind of pathetic that 59 would lose that much to 33. Didn't your fam keep a small attacker in case this happened?

lol even if they attacked you like that, and were ONLY hitting your bankers, just fund one banker with a lot of money. (your econ should be at least double theirs.) then have him blow all their important portalled planets. there is no excuse for 59 to be losing. and no excuse for 33/39 to whine tongue
