Topic: Life sucks
There are people with more than I have. Look at Bill Gates. He lives in a technological marvel of a mansion with all the pleasures he wants, while I live in this piece of crap apartment. What's worse is that there are people who live worse off than me. Some even live without sanitary conditions or adequate food, and boy I feel happy that I live somewhere in the middle of that continuum. But who can seriously say this depth of inequality is morally right? Bill Gates does not need to live like that, and he should get out of his pleasure house and donate most of his money to benefit the rest of us. He needs some compassion!
But the rich are evil. They horde all the money they don't need by exploiting us and we all live like beggars. The only way to solve this problem, I see, is for there to be more democracy and a bigger government. Everyone knows a bigger democratic government is for the people, and then with this solution we could redistribute wealth more fairly and life would be better and more compassionate for everyone. We don't need to take all of the money belonging to the rich, but we can even it out some and give people a better education.
