It applies to banks too. If you can't survive in the market, then c-y-a!

But also, the government regulations provided incentives for them to make bad loans, so.

Yup, that's exactly the point tongue

I don't know lad, but countries with a nationalized healthcare are usually doing (in statistics) better than those without...

if you call the government controlling your life as "better" then i guess you're right.

Re: American Voters this past Presidential Election.....question ?

>>Considering the current financial climate, these are probably the hardest years to be president since hoover/roosevelt. <<

The economy has been significantly worse by every measure since then. Obama just ignores those times because it's politically expedient and misleads you. Eat it up!

>>Obama has no choice to invest money in the economy, and he's gonna have to get the money elsewhere.<<

...What? I know he keeps saying he has no choice but to extend the power of the federal government over banking and healthcare, but that isn't evidence that it is true. In fact, it's no surprise that he claims this (we all told you he would) and all the evidence points to it being a bad move for the economy.

>>Give Obama the rest of his term to do his thing, and we'll evaluate after that.<<

So we shouldn't judge his lying as an indication of anything about the man? We shouldn't judge his spending wealth yet to be created generations down the line as irresponsible? We shouldn't judge his enacting socialist policies in banking and healthcare as possibly suspect?

Re: American Voters this past Presidential Election.....question ?

This THING...about Domonizing the banks is all from the leftists in Congress who liberalized and opened the loan market.

It was the Liberal Leftists Democrats, Schumer (Sen. NY), Franks (rep.) and Dodd (Sen.) the Democrat Leadership of the banking committees that loosened, and encouraged lending......and used Freddie and Fannie to AS THE BANKS BELIEVED, secure the loans.

It was the Republicans in the House, and some in the senate that sounded the alarm in '04, but were stomped out by the above, about the bad loans.

With that, It was a GRAND SCHEME, to have a Govt. take over of the banks......or just stupidity.   I believe it was stupidity....there is no way these lame liberal life-long Govt. leftists could be that smart.

If the Govt. F'ed the system up....then I believe the Govt. now has on obligation to fund the system......much to my Chagrin.

Come .......joust w/the master.
I'm always Right.   You are just intellectually Left.....behind.
Individual patriot, and a REAGAN Conservative.

Re: American Voters this past Presidential Election.....question ?

Not loosened, obliged the banks to do so is more like it Black Wing. Without incentive to do so, or being forced, these banks would never have made loans that were risky.

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)
