@ TMK and anyone else still unsure,

While TMK's idea was initially my idea as well,(previous to last round when I started using resource science about 2 weeks into the round when it was implemented), (this being in regards to the differential between actual resource production + planet bonuses + the new research)... I have come to conclude with ABSOLUTE certainty that the resource science DOES indeed work the same as econ science in that its a 1:1 bonus applied to all forms of resource production,(iron,endu, octa & food).

I calculated it down to my very last iron bonus planet and I have an average iron bonus of 11% per planet OVERALL, meaning this is inclusive to my NON-iron bonus planets that have MFs on them as well. Therefore, with exactly 49,508 MFs my expected production BEFORE resource science should be approximately 54,954 iron/tick... so with my resource research, which is only 37% at the moment,  according to the thoughts that its a 1:2 ratio, my production would be just under 65K/tick, BUT since I have VERIFIED that the bonus is applied as a 1:1 ratio, my prod should be approximately 75,287 according to my rough estimates, and in ACTUAL reality my prod in affairs of state IS 75,373, less than 0.1K iron off of my rough calcs, so in closing,

RESOURCE SCIENCE IS CURRENTLY A 1:1 RATIO.

its definitely a 1:1 ratio, my MFs were producing just over 2 iron a tick each.
