Re: Resources Research

"To benefit the resourcers amongst you, this new feature allows you to research into resource production. 100% research bonus in resource science will result in 50% increased resources production. However like the other sciences, 100% can not actually be reached in practice, but you can get close!"

This is a direct quote from the Announcement Posted from Arsy

So in Reality you can only really ACTUALLY reach 49% or around there.

For the sake of sanity and keeping math to the minimum  you expo a planet and build 100 Mining facilities, with those and a resource research bonus of 99% you will produce 149 iron per tick.

Pretty much explains itself so i wont go in to detailed calculations, This is also in conjunction with planet bonus'. I tried to look in to which one is updated first as depending on whether planet bonus is added first or the research bonus is added can effect the end production amount

Re: Resources Research

Do we know if its linear, ie 2% resources research gives a 1% bonus?

Re: Resources Research

I thought economy research went up higher than 50%?  Has it changed or do I have a bad memory

Re: Resources Research

i think 100% econ science gives you 50% extra income, doesn't it

Re: Resources Research

somone'll know.....

Re: Resources Research

im pretty sure 100% econ science gives you 100% bonus.. hmm not entirely sure though..

Re: Resources Research

Science       (1+EconomyScience%/100%)
You can invest in economy research. This will give you a certain research percentage.
Lets say you get 50% economy science.
Then you can multiply your base income with 1,5 (1+ 50/100)
With 20% economy science this means multiply with 1,2 (1+ 20/100).

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Yeah, Econ is 1 to 1. Con is the 2 to 1 one.

Re: Resources Research

ah, 1 rc makes 20 rp, with the resource science, would rc's be affected as well?

The construction isn't linear. So I asume the recourse mapping won't be linear aswell.
Not 100% sure though.

Dispo killed The riddle bar

Re: Resources Research

construction = normal time / (100% + research%) <-- giving maximum of 2x faster building
economy = normal income * (100% + research%) <-- giving maximum of 2x faster income
resource = normal resource * (100% + 0,5*research%) <-- probably rounded down, giving max 1,5x more resource
dunno the effects of militairy, cause I havent played for over a year
forgot what the 4th original research was

Re: Resources Research

welfair

and its not quite correct..

when i look at my councel i see that for each 10k mf i have i get 16.5k iron

and my siance is 55%

this means that it can go higher than 49

its plain and simple the amount of % than add the amount of resource bonus a planet has and you have the amount of iron you produce

Dutch bastard
