-I stopped eating so much fast food and incorporated lots more healthy products into my diet.

- Its a tie. The Superbowl Giants vs. Patriots

-My ex when she said I wasn't a good friend and had her friends and family curse me out because she was in the hospital needing a life saving surgery and I wasn't there to support her. Which I never got a phone call or text or anything saying what was going on. I mean...wtf =/

- Ummmm, I started doing yoga and pilates. "Started" lol

- I read quite a few. Atm Aesop's fables sticks out to me. Its a children's book that I read when I was little and just recently purchased but it has a lot of good stuff in it big_smile

- I was at a basketball tourney and I got so hyped up from our first win. They had a DJ there playing music and a stage and I just invited myself up there and started singing and dancing. Yeah, I do things drunk people do when I'm sober.

Probably one of the shows I saw at Edinburgh festival. It's the second time I have been and I love it, it's so awesome.

1. What was your favorite movie of 2008?

I'd have to go with The Dark Knight... and Heath Ledger WILL win the oscar!

2. Who was the most inspirational athlete to you? (Name team and sport)

This year i think it was Carlos Sastre and in fact the whole CSC cycling team who fought their way to victory in what must be the hardest sporting event of the year.... the Tour de France.

3. What was your biggest accomplishment?

Gaining my HLTA qualification.

4. What would you have changed or improved upon in 2008 if you had the power to do so? (Not neccesarily relating to you, could be an event or act that someone else did/didn't do)

The health and confidence of someone very close to my heart

5. What will you miss most about 2008?

Being lazy.... i hope!

6. What was the greatest thing you saw?

The works of Gaudi in Barcelona particularly Casa Botllo and Parc Guell. Another was David Tennant playing Hamlet in Stratford-upon-Avon. And.... my first trip to Anfield to watch Liverpool... it was every bit as exciting as I hoped.

7. Who pissed you off the most and how?

A woman called Nat.... but thats a whole other story!

Purple of course!

9. Did you do anything new in 08 that you hadn't done previously?

Went to Barcelona.

Why did it take so many years for my sisters, cousins and i to get off our bottoms and arrange to meet up?

11. Name one friendship that grew or a friendship that you found in 08?

A guy by the name of Dean (Darkmatt knows him). We met in January on a course we both attended. It was a chance meeting which led to a great friendship which will continue for many years.

Who needs sex when you have friends? I know i'm kidding myself but hey ho, its a dream i hold on to tongue

My son!

Beer... in the pub... now my son is old enough to stay home alone, I am getting my social life back in order and spending more time with my friends.

I drew something for a friend who was feeling low and posted it to him as a surprise.

To get my health back in order.

A large tin of Quality Street chocolates!

Potentially spending a day sitting on the side of a mountain in France wasiting for the Tour de France to come through.... if Lance Armstrong rides it as is rumoured big_smile

Diary of a Nearly Man by Alan Stutz. I have laughed so much reading this, it brings back so many good memories. Another was Last Man Down which is written by the last guy (a fireman) to escape from the World Trade Center after it collapsed.

My purple scarf!

A lad from a local upper school. I ran him over in my car!

Went to my friend's Hollywood Fancy Dress party dressed as Yoda! Yup I was all green and had the most amazing pair of ears. I won one of her Oscars on the night for it too big_smile

It was a very mixed year with some wonderful highs, but also some terrible lows. Many thanks to the people who helped me with the latter. smile

Cure my bf's dad, he has had 8 tumors alrdy had finally got for the 3rd time the 'all clear' in as much you can say it. Because you know it will most likely start again and a week later he ended up not being able to walk, then they found out that he had another tumor and this time near his spinal cord, the way it hurts my bf ... wich i could just make it all better

5. What will you miss most about 2008?
Not sure rly, i might edit this later on

Getting to disect a human brain? Was pretty cool to do

A rly good friend of mine because she asked me if i had anything to talk about with my bf just because he isnt doing uni or something like that

Meeting my bf and then his best friend, rly love my bf but i also get along good with his best friend, it is a great guy and i'm glad to have gained a good friend and a bf

A friend of mine, i only had a 10 euro and a 50 euro in my wallet and it was 12 euro 99 cents so i borrewed 3 euro's so i wouldnt have all that change but most likely wont see her for a while.

15. What was something you bought in 08 that was somewhat life changing? (Meaning anything that takes up more time or has a bigger effect)
The morning after pill, could of been pregnant now otherwise and it kinda slightly too soon for that for me

16. What opportunity did you miss out on?
Going to werchter (big rock festival) as a helper, and getting to see all the shows for free (working when they arent playing)

17. What was the nicest thing you did for someone in 08?
Well when Kristof (now my bf) asked if i wanted to see a movie and we in the end ended up going to a nice place in gent in the open air because it was nice weather and he mentioned it was his bday the next day and we had such a good time (and then i realised i was falling in love while only 2 days before i had said to a friend that i wasnt looking to start a serouis relationship any time soon and enjoyed being single) anyway on the way back we stopped in my local pub and i got him his favourite beer with those little fireworks in it tongue he was kinda embaressed but liked it, and the morning after i got up went to get fresh orange juice and a small strawberry cake for him

I didnt rly make any, because i always fail, i guess study good for the exams?

Yes i got a viva box with a ticket to go and eat tapas for 2 people

Having a good time with all my student friends and my bf

At a party with a theme : DISCO. i had pants that were tight at the top and flared out at the bottem, jeansy but silery jeans (so kinda blinking) and a flurescent yellow/purple/blue/green stretch top

Good

Dont know dont rly watch tv when i'm not home wich is most of the time

1. What was your favorite movie of 2008?
Nothing stuck out for me..got plenty fav films though. For 07 I'm torn between Sunshine and Blood Diamond.
2. Who was the most inspirational athlete to you? (Name team and sport)
Though he didnt do a great amount, I really got to know Tiger Woods.
3. What was your biggest accomplishment?
*I did a few insane high paced 40-60km solo survival hikes through the snowdonia mountains with nothing but a bottle, flint and knife.

The time it took for me to recover from a nasty break up.

I lived with nutters for housemates (mostly girls)..we had house parties till 5 in the morning literally 4 times a week. This year i've had to calm it down.

I dont really get pissed off, but stubborn ignorance disgusts me.

Several girls were interested in developing something with me, but I turned them down because of not quite being ready after a nasty breakup early in the year.

For about 2 months in the summer, I sat down and chatted with a very old and lonely man for about 30mins every day. Not amazing, but very unlike me.

*I couldnt get a fire going one night, it was raining and I was absolutely drenched. Instead of dying from hypothermia, I decided to hike for 8hrs through the dark to maintain enough body heat.

I had just come out of a long term relationship at the beginning of the year, and it took most of it for me to recover, other than that its been a good year. So average.
