Lets not over power pop banking here:P
lowering lq/to time by 2 ticks is a good start, I think possibly increasing the natural pop growth is also a good idea. 2 of those 3 also helps cf bankers lets not forget.
I think its already hard as it is to opp a pop banker, the ones that get opped easly are the ones not having suffeciant defense. The ones with suffeciant defense should only be passed by a big jumped wizzard and thats part of the game. What im upset about is the ignorance people have in the game in opping u till u got no pop left and it takes u a week to recover and thats too long.
10k pop is too much, thats still overpowering pop banking.
Speedyjerry mentioned 1k pop on every new planet in ideas thread. I think this would be a good start to look at.
So what IF pop banking had lq's taken 8 ticks, to's taken 16 ticks, pop growth was increased by 25%? and every new planet u explored had a natural population of 1k pop + if ever opped your pop could never go below 1k.
Another thing is have u ever thought about an opp p mode? We got p mode for someone losing 50% of their planets, but not someone losing their pop or getting their buildings nuked or getting their gc/resources opped?. 50% wouldent be enough, so any kind of opp p mode would have to be lower. Maybe someone could only be opped 75% of their pop?
Pop banking needs to be brought back with some help, but not over powered and not made so easy, still has to be risk for reward.
But of course lets not forget, pop growth increase will help any pop banker opped anyways. Im just not in agreement with someone getting fam to jump him in wizzards then opping some pop banker from 50m to 40k pop and basically ruining his round
