Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

i'm just inspired by Keith Olbermann and Cindy sheehan and george soros and code pink and all the others who Spoke Truth To Power for 8 years...LOLOLOLOL

'you being pissed at mccain for doing the right thing, instead of continuing to fuel your hate and anger for the president elect and thus america"

Really? Doubting El Presidente makes me hate america?  I must be guilty, I wrote letters and made phone calls to stop Bush's amnesty and bailout plans

"and you don't try to seperate, when clearly obama has said and showed, he's going to be a president for everyone, which means taking into consideration what the other people think"
Bush said the same thing and meant it, and its crap, because he has to make decisions, and people want him to ACT differently, that's why Bush wasn't well liked by Democrats
Why should I help Obama steal with higher taxes?
Why should I help Obama lose wars?
Why should I help Obama bail out failed fatcats?
Obama SAID he's going to do those things

Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

Why did you help Bush turn a 70 billion dollar budget surplus into a 1 trillion dollar national debt? hmm

Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

you don't help him.. you ACCEPT IT cuz clearly most of the people want him to do that
and here you are angry at mccain for doing what he fealt was right, and that was to unite the people behind obama...

and steal from who? I SERIOUSLY DOUBT you make even close to 250K, so you can stop worrying.. and it's not stealing, it's called helping out the people who couldn't eat for days on end, for the last 8 years..

lose wars, yeah, in that case we gotta stay there for another 100 or so years, cuz that war aint ending, unless you keep paying of people to stop attacking you, in which case, you're just fueling the problem--> you don't loose it, you END IT, because it's common sense, the other country can handle it's own problems, we can no longer ignore our own...

LOL!!!! if i'm not wrong, it was bush who wanted this bailout package, and mccain supported it aswell, as well as other republicans...

AND CLEARLY, prooven by the LANDSLIDE victory, it seems more than half the people in this country want exactly what i said above... and i guess you can't stand that can you? and i guess you can't stand that mccain lost, and i guess you can't stand that mccain didn't act like a sore loose, fuel your hate, divide the people even more, be a rebel, and go around in angry mobs...and trying to overturn the decision so YOU the republican MINORITY can have what you want, because the MAJORITY of america by electing obama is just stupid..

Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

Bush won big too, I didn't expect the left to lie down or accept anything, I expected we'd dynamite them out of the road for four years. It was a campaign promise the republicans made in 2004 and they lost in 2006 and 2008 in large part for refusing to keep it.  It was one reason I stopped being republican years ago

Where did Obamaniacs get the idea elections decide opinions? Govt can't tell me what to think, heard that one?  I'll boo a socialist if I feel like it. Boooo!

Taking money because you can is stealing and taking money you don't earn is corrupt.  Ending a war without winning is losing and choosing to lose is disloyal. Those are true no matter how many millions shrug at them and no matter if an old man in arizona shrugs and says "I had a blast, let's forget what's right and climb on the bandwagon"

Btw you can't be a protector of the poor and promote inflation...1/3 of the US has no living memory of the 1970s which explains a lot -- not that Obama's plan is aimed at the poor, its not about feeding the starving its about helping Joe Sixpack keep cable with a "tax credit"--if his new union dues let him...

Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

in the end you can for sure support whatever u think is right.

and if you believe that actually trying to do nothing is better then at least trying to change something (no matter if you believe if its wrong or right, and no elections do not decide opinions but elections do decide the course of your country) its up to you but for me it appears wrong.

I have never been a supporter of Angela MErkel or her Christ social union... but they are at power.. and if they do have a plan to get my country out of a crisis... i support it.. because even if its not my oppinion.. its the only chance i have.. the party i support is not in the position to help me out so i have to trust those who are at power.. because their way to help my country may not be my way.. but it at least is a way.

if you decide. fine.. lets block as much as possible and watch us go down the drain even more.. fine...
but is that for the good of the country u reps love so much?

you know what mccain did? he realized how [FUBAR] americas situation is right now.. and he jumped over his own shadow.. for the good of AMERICA, not for the good of the republic party. and that is something that deserves shitloads of respect. a person in his age is able to let away his own personal priorities for the good of the country. sad that it appears many younger americans are not that "big".

Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

I just realized yesterday none of you has ever known BW or me or Acolyte as anything but the voice of Government, this game started in 2001 didn't it?

You never knew the American right-wing as the voice of Resistance and opposition... We tend to get a little hardheaded and resistant.  A wee bit intractable. Not at all our normal, expansive selves big_smile

"Football game, name calling"
No, in many ways 2004 was the high-water mark of the GOP. It ran with Congress and the President as a unit working for an agenda. They promised a slate of policies to fix social security win in Iraq and reform judicial appointments. Once they won, defections by guys like McCain went unpunished, they felt free to repudiate every pledge, and came up with insane ideas like amnesty eith back pension for illegal aliens.

"Giving money off street corners"
That's what Bush and this Congress has been doing since summer, its what Congressional Democrats want to do before the election, and Obama is gonna expand the idea. With tax credits!

Taxpayer: I earned $25000 last year.
Govt:  Then you owe $863 in taxes. But we took some out of everypaycheck so we owe you $153.
Taxpayer: woot!
Govt: But you also get a $3500 tax credit! So you get $3653.00 as a "refund".
Taxpayer: WOOT

"Minority revolution"
I don't care about color. If you mean the lower middle demanding federal guarantees of their lifestyle, here it is now, and see how that flops

Some belgians were giddy the govt was gonna give them money to buy a BICYCLE.  Democrats are talking about helping every American buy a CAR- a green car--and giving Detroit a few hundred billion to make them faster. And the Plan is, foriegners will loan us the money to do that, with bond purchases, in whatever amount, forever.

"Obstruct and block everything and watch your country sink further"
We don't sit quietly and let govt do our thinking for us. The last time we had anything close to unity was WW2 because the Axis hit us first and were such jerks. And even then there were rumbles at how FDR was running it.

A lot of these ideas haven't been tried since the 1970s because they're such flops.   They don't deserve a "trial period" to see how they work.

We might not stop any of it, especially if the Democrats restore the Fairness Doctrine and render radio free of politica content again. But part of changing it is opposing it, and that each of can do alone.

Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

bush won big??

that's news to me,

you talk about stealing, you should know the election was stolen from gore tongue
and these are fundamental diss-agreements

but we put up with bush, for 8 years
you gotta put up with Obama for 8(hopefully) ...

and mccain did the right thing, he knew he was wrong so he stepped with obama, afterall before running for the election, he agreed with almost everything obama had to say... he's going back to his true roots

and anyone else... now that mccain campaign and aides are talking, anyone wanna admit that i was right, that palin's a whacko
apparently she thought africa was a country
actually i gotta credit her... she was smart in the sense she knew that they were guna loose, but atleast she got like over $250,000 worth of clothes for her and her family..

Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

Word of caution on that...a lot of guys in the McCain camp are scumbags, apparently a few were Romney people who feel THEY are running the party now that McCain lost, thank you very much, odd how he lost with the E-lights helping him...

so it's all McCain's fault

and Palin is an idiot, pay no attention to her, it's MITT...aaaaaaahhhhh....

one thing we should all agree on, a Republican who leaks to the NYT is seriously deviant and needs put down

it does not speak highly of McCain's hypothetical Admin that he trusted such losers...imagine what they'd have done if he'd won...actually look at Bush's Admin, no imagination needed.

(I never voted for McCain, i cheered for PALIN, because she agreed with me... only Republicans get to vote in teh California Republican primary and I care about being right more than just winning votes so I am not republican anymore, and on Tues I voted for Alan Keyes)

Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

they spoke the truth... lied for a couple of weeks but atleast spoke the truth

what scares me is...what if mccain did win, these things would be held in... and these people would support and keep their mouths shut even though they knew the things they did...

Re: 60 days to go... On the road and TV speeches

didn't happen with bush, glad
