seems to be alot of 1055 bashing all of the sudden. I know awsome was super cocky and joor wasnt too far behind, so they do deserve some bashing, but i have to say something 1st.

1055 sat back and just cleared their neighbors and from what i seen did not evan try to do anything else. Doing this is fine if your just sitting back doing whatever and not bragging, its the bragging while doing nothing that makes people notice u and laugh. However I did not see anything else from any other top fam. 83 looked to the fam to beat early on till 91 caught them with their pants down bad. I then thought 91 would really jump to the top 3 and be a force to recon with, but their infra is totally shit and Other then that 1 big war they didnt make any sparks. They must got some munchers in them because they keep saving for 7-10 days for 1 war to last 2 ticks.

I dont see any of the top fams shinning over any other, so i dont think none of them should flame the other. 91 looked good early on as did 83 and 86 showed some form of life by hitting 55.

Its easy to sit here and say " dude yourlucky this happened or that happened or u be dead u n00bs in 55"

n00bs are needed for this game to survive, evan the cocky ones that need putting in their place. I was a n00b and rna my mouth with still much success in ic right from the get go, I also got put in my place maybe 2x early on and never again like that. I got bashed like 55 are now in forums alot worse, sometimes warranted and sometimes not. It turned me on and made me want to kill them harder the next round and taunt them more, which i did. i loved taunting people. I use to say  WERE THE BEST THEIR WAS, IS AND EVER WILL BE:) when m00lar was at its best and I still believe that. When kagar and I attacked together we were unstopable, when i went banking we were evan more unstopable. Infra/leadership and attacking was just 2nd to none. We could of taken the easy road every rouind and just won every round with blow outs, but 99% of the time we allied alot weaker fams and naped 0 top 10 fams while they all naped each other and just wared us. So instead of winning all the time we only won 75% of the time with the other 25% finishing 2nd or 3rd in size.

I dont know whats gonna happen rest of this round, but i hope peeps tone it down a bit with the harsh bashing and just do some moderate taunting and moderate flaming. I do hope 55 take it with stride and stick together and come back next round. All too often i seen fams that were good 1 round totally collaspe and delete before the round ended or after it ended and it takes another competetive fam out of the picture for the next round. I dont know how it is now, but 3 yrs ago We wanted competetion and not sitting back napping, infra whore and bragging were #1 for it.

On another note, yea kagar and 1061 slowed 1055 down alot. 1055 have only themselves to blame, u had it so easy and dident eliminate some enemies in the top 10, u treated a fam that has atm 4 ex m00lars/playboys in it + evo who together probably won 50+ rounds all together. just because were 25th ranked and not so active doesent mean we cant do harm to anyone. U treated kagar like he was a n00b in negotiations and for that u got into a war with us that has lasted now 2 weeks. U finally got a small upper hand thanks to lowering aw's nw and getting him in our core so we couldnt touch him, but destroying our infra means 0 to us while we hurt your savings, income, morale,fleet and time.

U should of been saving a certain % this whole time and i doubt u have a small fam like us should not of done much damage to us, but u allowed it. U got no idea about lasers,fleet or any opp defense. U jumped 700k soliders to fend off a banker raid which was stupid because your attackers needed that, I could tell u what u should of done, but ill wait till after round. tymo lowered his nw to 2.6m while he has 0% con, i assume so 86's big attacker couldnt hit him, but atm is that his target?

There are about 6 or so top fams of the past that were dynasties with another 20 or so fams that had 1-2 real good rounds. unfortunatly evan if your fam would to win this round u will be remembered as another haod fam. oh and ironically the round haod was #1, i had a small fam ranked 43rd that was beating them and then winmes fam finished them off:)

PP, I have to say, I'm really, really beginning to respect/like you! I agree with everything you said. Which is funny, cause I used to really hate you since you got Kemmy and me deleted a few years ago. But you've really changed! =O

But yeah, as PP said, I'm not saying anything against 55 being nub or anything. Sure, they're an infra fat fam, but conversally, my fam is the opposite (rank 15 for NW, rank 4 for size). Whatever 55 is doing, it's *working*. It's thrown them into the top 2 all round. And for a map that's 160x160, infra whoring makes sense. Of course, that lack of attackers did mean they became the target of 3 top 5 fams.

Now I'm not attacking Joor because I think he's a noob or anything like that.

I just hate the way everything in IC becomes "Someone attacked me, lol, they're noob!"

C'mon guys, it's a game. Why can't we *respect* people who organise massive raids against us? Sure, you're annoyed - you're angry. You've lost everything the last 2 months of your life has been focused on. But surely you think "Wow, 86 are pretty good! Nice raid!" rather than calling them n00bs, suggesting *anyone* can take the planets they did, and then throwing the icing on the cake by suggesting that a war with a rank 25 fam is the sole reason why 55 couldn't fight back! Furthermore, calling 91 - who most people will agree, attacking wise, has been the fam of the round - noobs.

I'm sure Joor is a great player - well, he must've been decent to have a fam rank 1 all the time. While some may say focusing on infra instead of attacking is bad, it's not a n00b move and is perfect for a super sized gal. But what annoys me is the way Joor can't have respect for anyone except himself, is always insulting people and seems to lack the logic required for a deductive argument! I mean, if you are gonna start a flamewar, at least make sense and state facts!


Seriously guys. Chill out. We're all friends here. This is a game. And we're all mates playing this game. We're enemies now, we may be allies later. We should only get annoyed at *real* dishonourable and vile acts.


Tobes: Thanks. I do try to play as honourably as I can. Killing small fams is not fun, and it makes me feel shit. NAPing them is better. Which fams did I play with you in and who were you? smile

see, now THAT was actually a well thought out post jarik... its unfortunate the raid was rollbacked actually -- i didnt even see it happen as i was gone all day competing in a qualifying regatta for my district -- but i will say its impressive that it was planned out the way it was

Yeah, our bankerraid got messed up by rollback, but you can bet your ass we aint given up on the fight. And esp Jarik with your latest post, I completely agree, people should appreciate skills more than just whine in forums. Back in the days you always had a few whiners going on and on about how m00lar killed their rounds/fun etc...but for every whiner you would have 10 people defending them, being impressed by their gameplay smile

Now more on topic ; This is the one war we have been wanting all round, we didnt save more than what we felt we needed, and if it wont be enough, I cross my fingers that 55 will spend their income poorly...like jumping 700k ground on some banker wink
We either win proud or die proud, wish us the best of luck and please enjoy the war. Some people...Elrohir, Hope, WinMe and Gekko, have been working damned hard for this, give them some kudos ^^

PP_: tymo dropped nw to be able to attack me before I jumped.. since the rollback rolled back before I even jumped tongue
and part of his lost nw is because he took a portal from me but he lost about 800k nw while doing so =0

as for this war, I wanted this for a while, but there were always a couple of things that prevented it from happening earlier smile

idd, i also wanted it for a while and then the choosen night was kinda crap for me to stay up and i was tired as hell but i did it for the fam, so yeah, but all it does is want me to go down even more
i do need to say 55 have some skilled players but still they lacked a couple of basic defense stuff it made me lol still gl to both parties tongue

yeah i killed fleet so my portals near elros portal could not be hit -  then later i sent a fleet to his portal - hit it and won it as he had much of his fleet out - that resulted in me losing alot more fleet but at least taking a portal......   i dont like what my fam us doing in the forums but i still gotta fight for them as i am basically there only active attacker and have been all round (apart from a week or so of AW kicking ass)

I have to say, one thing 55 did excellently is fill up their cores. Especially their outer cores. Not one unexplored planet. No holes for small attackers to sneak through. Any system with a banker was full.

Really made our job hard. You put a stint in our plan. We were gonna get Aries to get share in your outer core, mini-raid one of your bankers to get me and Leo in your inner core (we were hovering already) - portal, jump and kill your fleets completely in about 20 systems worth of planets, then activate ~300-400 BR fleets. =P

But suddenly, your cores had no holes...and we couldn't get in. Then 86 declared...bah.

wake up 55 -  where is everyone ?   we have gone from having 6-7-8 people on irc to me on my own currently - yeah its the easy way out to just not log on and hope someone sorts it our but im gonna stop bothering myself if people dont start giving a shit.....

im dissapointed to be honest..... but i guess 55 is a type of fam that only cut it in the good times and go awol in the bad.... i should post this in my fams forum really but i dont care who knows -  im getting a feeling like im on the titanic atm big_smile

in a competative area we would be lucky to be top 20 -

im pritty gutted - worked my ass off at the start to secure a massive core - and god knows how long i spent doing yamas every day

86 dont know who I am, really, noone does. I wont reveal my real identity, I dont even bother.

We cant do much atm as many ppl went inactive due rl situations (Pickle's wife gave birth to a baby, Zen had something going on in rl, I got a new gf, Awex had problems at work, AW stopped with his activity after rollback). So I don't even bother returning to this forum, all you guys do is whine about the rollback, whine about 55 (who's still no1) and whine about your IC "carreer"... Get a life, pop a beer, life's more then IC.
