"Black_Wing:
One of the biggest Not-For-Profit Organizations.
you write:
Its much better to make your point, and disagree on merit, not bias."

How does a non-profit organization fund a private army, a palace for the pope, massive cathedrals, television programs, and a large bureaucracy?
Not for Profit.
Means no one personally profits.
Justinian, I think you are a smart guy.
Is it really necessary to post what humanitarian positives the Catholic Church does world wide ?
Yea, I know, as long as its for Catholics or to further the Catholic Church.
Cant question the good that is done.....a lot of good.
@ Nem
Dude, you were the one to post.....not I.
Maybe you should use a lot more discretion in the future.
Get your facts in order, and dont be so condescending in the nature of your words.
From where I'm sitting it looks like Nem made a point about the condecending nature of your words. But you are right in one respect, so let us get back to the issue.
No one can personally profit from the sucess of the Catholic Business model, they all get a gain as a whole. Maybe the USSR should have studied rather that shunned Catholicism.
@Sitting Duck
One series of Monkeydust was aired... good stuff ![]()
Cathlic church is just like the knights templar was. Members weren't allowed anything valuable but the group as a whole was very rich.
All in all, and as a complete atheist, convinced non-catholic, I think that, despite the sometimes rediculous phrases this is a good thing I think. They are trying to modernize and that is absolutely necessary.
thnx fokker, and bw i still dunno what exactly yr pointing at o_O
you said: "Dude, you were the one to post...." i posted after you posted o_O right? what about me post then, what part/words ? surely you couldnt be offended if someone were to pose that (some) churches do get some sort of gain o_O?

and what is meant by Genetic modification? if yr not working at the lab, you shouldnt buy products mader from altered resources? how often do we even get to know wether it was modified to start with
do we need some institutioun telling us stuff? wether they be non-profit or not?
has the pope watched al gore's movie ![]()
is it a leftist scam
?
if u believe god gave us this earth then i can understand the ppl representing the religion calling for treating it with a bit more care
you could argue if not doing so might be considered a sin, and what punishment stands for it
People have funny ways of making a point here.
