Dimpel, it's people like you that i wish have at least 1 gay child, for this reason. Either you will love and accept him/her and in that event, they will shower you will gifts because of their -typically- high disposable income. Or, you will reject their choice to live freely, and when your 80 living in a run down nursing home, cursing your child, your self, and the poorly paid workers who don't give a rat's ass about you.

WinME, many people are born a "natural ability" as you put, to kill or steal, with makes them happy, for lack of a better word. Thats why our prisons are always full. As for genetic mutations, I'm no expert (not even close) but if we take Africans as the nearest model to our early ancestors, then white skin is a mutation, as is blonde hair, blue eyes, tiny button noses, etc etc. If indeed homosexuality is caused solely or in part by a physical part of the brain, the yes, it probably would be considered a mutation. But like I said, every human being has genes that have mutated through generations.

Alch! It's Pride week already? I thought it was the first week in July?? ... In anycase, I couldn't have gone anyway, with work commitments and such. It's a crappy part time job, so they're understaffed almost all the time. Hopefully next year I'll be able to fly up though.

And Cloud, your right. No one here cares if I'm gay or straight. Thats exactly why I posted here. I've made a few friends here over the years, and I found my all time favourite band from a suggestion I got from one of those friends. And IC has a great community. You really have no idea what a relief it is for me just to be able to go online, read past posts, and no that outside my little life is a huge world full of people who will accept whatever I am.

CT, again I urge against you coming out to your parents using a note you leave on the coffee table.  It may be the most difficult conversation you have to have with your parents, but once you've told them, you'll be a lot less hung up about telling everyone else.  Otherwise, you might end up leaving notes on a lot of coffee tables.

i am straight, and a lot of the times get flack from those that claim to be gay, but seem more like perv's, but i am intelligent enough to know that just like racial prejudice, we all have our bad apples, if you can respect that someone is straight, then they should respect that you are gay.

Homosexuality doesn't directly effect other people.  It can't really be compared to killing or stealing.

That's moot though, what's "right" or "wrong" is a personal definition.  You think it is wrong.  You are correct.  I don't think it is wrong.  I am also correct.  There's no such thing as objective morality.  That's why law exists.

i dont really get the whole Gay Pride week thing - i mean gay is basically normal in todays world you dont need to go around telling everyone on backs of trucks......

its got to the point where the carnival things are not needed anymore cos lgbt people are accepted by nearly everyone and awarness is like 100%....
