What happens if you used this directly on the world's oceans?

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

only the area the wave could reach would ignite. However this could be a big area mattering on strength of the transmitter and how much of the wave is lost per segment of water.

I am most interested in seeing if this device can set a larger thing than a beaker on fire.

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

how much power does it take to power the radio wave transmitter? that would make or break the practicality of this machine.

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

yeah I know. I am looking for that info also. It appears to be plugged into a 120 watt household power socket... but does it use it all? or only a portion?

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

Basic physics tells you that the amount of energy in the radio waves must be more than the energy created.

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

This is not basic physics however, is it?

This is a harmonic resonance which is making the atoms desire to break connection on their own, ergo it has a little bit of different rules than normal. 9000 degrees is pretty hot water btw tongue

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

The water burning is kinda cool..

the method to inject nano metal parts into cancer cells is being used in berlin since 2004 btw.. i don

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

"This is not basic physics however, is it?"

True but unless I've missed something even the most advanced physics is governed by the Law of Conservation of Matter and Energy.  Matter and Energy cannot be created or destroyed so unless this process can convert matter into energy the maximum energy output could only be equal to the energy input and that requires 100% efficiency of the process.

I admit it's been a while since I opened a physics textbook but I'm fairly certain that remains a limitation.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

Not to mention the fact that you can never have 100% efficiency (yay the laws of thermodynamics) however since when has Flint ever listened to stupid laws of science?

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

What is the defined make up of a radio wave You_Fool?

And where did I even say 100% efficiency?

And why the obvious flame attack? Can The Yell please step on this rude attack pls?

What we have here is an interesting change in science, with an interesting story.

It is 100% new in science, no one else has done it yet, and it has interesting applications, but we will not know more until more information is applied.

This is an application of a wave disrupting the foundation of the bond between the atoms. It also happens to heat either the water or the resulting gases, or the salt I guess... to a combustion level, or triggers combustion on it's own. This seems to be rather unique in and of itself also.

Finally it goes also to say that waves can be interesting. Some waves break up upon contact with solids, some waves bend (like light), some waves reflect, some waves lose strength but continue, and some waves will suffer attrition.

The waves also will have a barrier distance where most of it will be decayed, if not utterly, to uselessness. But the question remains can these waves affect a larger area than a test tube? How much bigger? Some waves can very effectively be sent power wise in real life, but some are extremely costly.

The topic was meant in humor, your blatant attack however seems to not be writ in humor.

My humor is because the guy is curing cancer with a novel new idea and his stuff also seems to be possibly a new power method as well.

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

lol that was such a miniscule "flame attack" to complain about flint

Sex without the e is still SX!

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

Similar things have been don e before Flint, cold fusion? that used simple salt water as well...

Radio waves and their great properties still doesn't change the fact you can't break the laws of thermodynamics, no matter how much you try. Until there is more proof on how this works I am going to be sceptical, it is the best way to be... otherwise you get the cold fusion fiasco all over again...

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

well, the law of thermodynamics isn't a law if this proves it wrong.

i like how you "rational" minds approach this: the science is wrong, there is this law

i just want to hold the mirror up, it amazes me the way some of you think

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

It is more people have tried to claim all sorts of wonderful things that went against the laws of thermodynamics, and each time science (thermodynamics) have won, that is why they are so great, they are never wrong, well not yet.

ALso my mind says "science is right, the laws of thermodynamics hold"

So far there has been very little about this that shows that the laws are not holding... he could be putting in more energy than he is getting out, it could be many things....

Elysian Thebes do you belive in god?

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

...Does anyone remember the "Water Powered Car" I posted last year? Or the Water Powered Cutting Torch. the year before? What happened to them?

I hate to say this (I was really behind this one) but something is not right here.

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

yeah, i agree with you, fool, just it would be weird to see scientists denying the workings of empirical evidence based on affirmation of a postulation.

freelancer, when did the universe begin? what was there before that, what made it begin? when did something come from nothing? the answer to those questions has lead me to affirm that there is a higher power. basially ties in to this same law: you would have to be a god to bring something out of nothing.

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

And then comes the question: what brought the god(s) out from nothing?

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

Right in the point  Elysian.. So what do you see in the big bang theory? what does it prove to you?

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

well, part of the resume of being a god is being above nature/natural laws. hence the uncreated creator, unmoved mover, uncaused cause stuff

God did.... think about it. big_smile  the very definition of God is that he is everything.... therefore he is the beginning... he is the now... and he is the end

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

Not to mention that according to special relativity and biblical principle - God is in all places at once, meaning infinite speed, meaning infinitely beyond the speed of light, meaning infinite time stretch... in both directions :-p

Not saying that's the way it is, just the way it could be - mostly for entertainment value

Re: Honey I accidently made a endless energy source!

Actually there is a rather interesting theory related to big bang that I find much more interesting. It does introduce a new force into the universe, so maybe it isn't that great.

HOwever basically you take M theory, you stretch and pull at it untill it works the way you want, add a force which decays over time, that pushes the universe apart.

Then you have a cyclic universe, that doesn't collapse but stretches infinitly, but that small areas eventually have so much decay of the extra force that it folds in on itself (due to the extra dimensions of m theory) which ups the concentration of the extra force and you get a new big bang, which creates matter out of the energy stored in the other dimensions. No god, just physics...
