Topic: is ic becoming a joke? whats going on?

I never complain bout ANYTHING, I never think that if i loose a war...its because ive been cheated on.

I take it as a man. But what the HELL is going on here!!??? We were loosing a war against 807, and turned it around and were winning, all of the sudden a guy from 790 jumps and starts hitting our bankers full scale. One day after 803 hit us HARD, and we loose another 100 planets.

The guy from 790 even admitted he was helping out 807 and 803! AND the funny thing is, the leader of 803: Genesis, who knows we are in war.....has been considered a mod and is a mirc mod in #general. Is this the ppl who represent IC??? dis-honorable guys who has no morale or etiquette? Ive been around just as long as HE has!  I have ten times the honour and reason he has, and NO one has ever asked ME to become a mod!

I have been so loyal to this game, and YOU idiots are questioning WHY ic is losing players?? are you ppl kidding me? I have wasted so much time here, and ive had alot of fun....and this is what happens? gang banged for no obvious reason?

let me add, that our allies are considering dumping us now. This game sucks

well said teddy, i'm with you. mods have lack of respect just because they think they are more because nothing can be done against them as they are mods. ( this doesn' count for all mods, but most abuse their 'moderator' status )

playing the game as a game used to be played. keep it real

this sort of shit is considered an ia, and all parties should be blocked whether this is their first round or they are mods. if this is what actually happened, and genesis (all of them but genesis is the only name mentioned, never had any kind of personal beef with him but im all for fairness) and the rest of involved players are not blocked, all it does is give players who do it in the future a solid reason to argue their being blocked.

Eh, I agree with all  the above. 

An, for personal reasons, from this round, I have a list of mods to kill on sight, as well as a few others who thot it was funny, or doubted me. Or who said I deserved it, and so on.

what pisses me of more about new ic, (first round back since '04) is people's reactions
Expo fase was at it's end and my attackers went ahead expanding there spread and clearing some of our systems, taking max 20 planets from a family, i think what we can call normal non war attacks and stuff, if you dont like it, retake and defend and clear yourself but what do you get as a leader, a load of swearing in a pm msg saying how dead you are gonna be and screw you etc etc etc, man so pathetic, one it doesnt mean a damn to me it's just a game and i think attacking is part of the game and we arent talking about big gang ups like on 808, plz for people to get so hot headed about small things and use such bad language for it rly gets me, i'm not used to it, and was amazed at the start of the round that the game has become this way

1st. Not that this needs much justification, but 803 is allied to 807. 807 had people deleting and gone inactive, so we decided to interfere, that's what allies do. If your allies want to drop you now, then I suppose you should have found better allies.

2nd.While you may have been around just as long as I have, I have spent at least twice the time playing IC than you have. If you want to consider the time and effort put into every single one of my families, which have won or competed in basically every round I've played, I don't think you'll find much to stand on comparing yourself to me.

3rd. I have been a #general op for around 5 years now, and no one ever held my actions questionable or dictatorial in there, nor when I was a forum mod, nor when I was asked to be a mod. Again, the time and effort I have put on performing those taks clearly outweight the crack jokes you post evey 6 months in Uni, when you feel like playing your gogo round of the year.

We all have priorities, But please do not comapre what's beyond comparison Teddy. I've always liked you, even when you were Smaug's buttboy who begged himn to break NAPs for you. Just don't pretend to be something you're not, it's really not becoming.

Post em.  I dont like 2v1, but it is done. 3v1 is beyond all allowed.

It's tough enought to fight a declared war, without a bunch a others dropping in.  A core clear or two, a bit for spread, I understand,

But from alla the above, seems 790, 803, and 807 acted in concert on this guys fam. That bein thee case, all three should be blocked, or at least the players involved.

807 and 803 working together is allowed, like genesis said, good allies help each other out when needed, 807 was loosing so 803 gives a hand, i would do the same for my allies, yes it ends up in a 2v1 but if you have good allies it will become a good 2V2, 790 helping out is another case

Either you are destroying, or you are being destroyed. I havn't seen an honest war in years, and most fams (*Ahem*, the top fams) simply sit back and infra whore it. Apparently, thats the fun thing to do. There is no honour, and it never existed. The only difference between now and a few years ago is that back then there were players in NUMBERS. But really, vultures were common place back then too -- just not the severity of todays standards.

What annoys me is that instead of coming to mods to raise this potential issue and ask for it to be investigated, your first port of call is to come to the forums to whine about it. If you had spoken to mods beforehand and nothing was done, then you would at least have some grounds to bitch at the team this time. However as far as I am concerned, this is not the case.

If you have proof that illegal activity has been going on, then bring it on. I'm waiting. The forums are not the place for it.

Secondly Genesis currently has no connection to the current mod/fmod team, so that bares no relevance at all.

Amazingly, in PW the top fams aren't infra whoring it tongue  Of course they aren't the top fams anymore, but I'm sure their war is fun.

the most honourable round i've played for me atleast was last sag d round. Do something wrong you'll hear about it and other fams will take actions against you. maybe the setup needs to be changed.
