This idea has another endless supply of modifications. This could be used in conjunction with disbanding a planet, to show unexplored but still has traps.

This strikes me as a useful addition to our defensive toolbelt.  Lasers are ok for awhile, but easily overcome once people can afford even a modest fleet of bombers.  A sabotaged planet on the other hand could be a little harder to deal with.

Disbanding (abandoning) a planet is a second part to this, which I think has value for other reasons anyway, but also makes the trap idea more compelling.

What do you guys think?

Could be a nice way for huge players to hand over infra to small ones tongue Build them, disband, let them explore.
Also traps are awesome big_smile
