Dont dick ride lol.. its not cute and im just speaking for the vets who are sitting out because of these actions its the truth obviously if the main vets or players who've been playing and making the competitiive for a while now sit out because of these changes and actions done by our new owner obviously its a issue their.. Even wild will admit the challenge has dropped so dramatically its like nobody to even fight for a last  battle or a fam to worry about.. but eh what do i know i've only been playing this game for like 17 years!! stupid fucking cunts lol.. with really no breaks or years off.. so i think i know enough..

It's more like if you were living in an apartment complex and over the years all the toilets stopped flushing for all of the tenants.

One day a fellow tenant gets fed up with the situation, and buys the building from the previous landlord.  He decides that the tenants deserve better, and just so happens to be a plumber.  What great news!

The bad news is, the plumber discovers that all the pipes in the building are leaking, and the toilets not flushing is just a small symptom of a much bigger problem.

The plumber technically could get the toilets to flush by having each apartment's toilet drain the used toilet water into the bathtub.  On the surface this "fixes" the problem but it's just hiding the real issue.  The plumber, being a professional plumber, knows better.  He installs a port-o-potty outside for everybody to use while he works on the building's pipes.

You don't care about any of that because you don't like using a port-o-potty.  As a person who's been using a toilet for years, you consider yourself to be an expert in how toilets function and what exactly needs fixing despite not being a professional plumber yourself.

"Just make the water go away when I flush.  It's simple, why is this taking you so long?" you say to the plumber one day, as the plumber quietly nods.

You proceed to tell all the other tenants that the plumber is an idiot and if he only listened to you, the toilets would be fixed already.  You've been pissing and taking shits for years, and even though everybody else in the apartment has too, you consider yourself to be one of the most knowledgeable experts on the matter and make sure to constantly remind everybody.

The plumber continues to work, taking a break from dirty pipes once in awhile to let his fellow tenants know what's going on.  He hears the familiar sound of you yelling "Just make the water go away when I flush!  I already told you how to fix it!" and sighs.  Some of the other tenants look at the plumber and shrug.  Everybody has a good laugh at the absurdity of the situation.

The plumber eventually takes his brother, Luigi, on an adventure to save Princess Peach.  They build some karts along the way, and everybody lives happily ever after.

OMG This is the most epic post in the IC forums for years! Not in the least because the metaphore is so freakishly spot on.
Probably IC Death -our legendary guru-warlord-master-galatic overlord-brother of xenu-breaker of chains-first of his name-blabla- thinks I'm dickriding now, and we all know he knows best.

As you know Pie, I'm happy with the work you put in IC, and every day, the game is getting a bit better. Thanks

His heart's in the right place though, and in the end players aren't gonna really care about the details to be honest.  What matters is that the game is engaging enough to be worth peoples' time.

We'll get there.  It won't be easy, but doing something right rarely is.

ICD we've had this conversation more times than I can remember.

I appreciate your feedback generally, and your perspective is valuable but please do remember that you're not the only person who's been playing this game for 10+ years.  Other players are not any less "real players" because they disagree with you.

I hear you and I understand your reasoning, and I keep your feedback in mind just as I do with everybody else.
