I dont think it missed its goal... it had its purpose... smaller fams enabled to use ops as a defence... a detterant to being farmed when your face with 100 nukes a day compared to a fractional fleet they could have....

Sure it still needs tweaking. Further up in nw you get the harder it is to war so something may need to change there but ultimately it gives more balance. Fine tuning it will get it sorted out.

And FYI its imperial conflict not honourable conflict in a chaos round its anything goes...... if you want allies pnap them... simples... saves all the worrying that you might be stabbed in the back come eor... lesson learnt I say.

If they decide to be a banker or some other silly race which makes it boring for them more fool themselves than the structure they followed like mere cattle.

They were your allies, not ours. At one time this game have 100's of ppl playing it, now it 50 on a good round, but really more like 40.

When u perform a pi and then want to remove a share or 2, u have no more morale. Then u have to wait a day before removing the other guy that costs you 100 morale. Thats straight out boring to me, all is left is keep sending aid..
Someone mentions about a silly race.. Well we cant alll be the #1 attacker with 20 planets or less, its roleplaying. You want complete fam full of attackers then? Hey why do we even have different races then? Its bs. Get it more tweaked either by addons to races or by changing the formula. Sadly enough that last is again top secret, if public at least we would understand how it workz.

Oh and more action this round: Cant it be from the chaos rounds by  allowing ia ??

You're describing attacking a small player in a family half the size of your own.  If that's what keeps a round from being boring to you, than I apologize.

You're right, the chaos round could be causing more action... but the morale formula is keeping it around families that are closer in nw, rather than big families farming the pants off smaller ones to compete for the final pcount win.

I don't particularly care what you've done in the past.  When it comes to this talk of vengeance I don't even have any reason for that...I've been on Colorado's side as he systematically wiped out the small families on multiple occasions (can't say I ever liked the strategy, but he's effective)  As stated before, it watched your small attacker inserting himself into our core.  It's unfortunate for yourself and others in the family that Colorado is in there, as likely something like this would have been overlooked... but when a player has a reputation such as his, he's been elected the leader of the family, and it sure looks like he's setting himself up to smash our bankers for planets (everyone knows Colo will do anything to win the round in pcount)....

You guys throw the word honor around like nothing.  We fully expected that if we waited too long we'd be the ones in here complaining about dishonorable play.  You had multiple attackers that were set up in areas that only had benefit if you planned to attack us... and we acted preemptively.

Breaking alliances on "what ifs" is not justified

It's clear to see what has happened, secrets & lies - long time planning.   I saw your spread in our core 3 weeks ago and pre-warned colo about trusting 01.  He said "Random is a good guy, I trust him"  well well

I used to spot for PP for 5 years, watching the map every day for attempts of nap breaking, or surprise attacks so it's quite clear to me what has really happened.  Don't treat me a fool by talking such fluff in the forum. 

Not going to whinge more - it's a sad act to finish the round, a hollow victory.  Some players are disgraceful, what's new.

No Colorado world have attacked us. I knew about it 12 ticks before it happend. Yes we explored each others core as precaution. Now it did end this way, feels a lot better then if Colorado would have done it twice in two rounds. And orbit, he didn't ask his family last round he wouldn't have this round either. Next time make sure u lead if u end up with him again.

1.  I was against allying with him from the start
2.  As far as I know when the alliance was made we had no intention of breaking it
3.  It's not about dislike, it's about lack of trust.  If others in this game choose not to trust me because I was banking in a family that, during a chaos round, chose to break alliance on a family led by Colorado before he had a chance to do the same to them (as again, he's known to do at eor with or without his family's approval)... I'm ok with that.

Also, situations like this one are why I'm trying to come up with ways do move away from the traditional family system.  You're right in saying that it's unfortunate for the rest of your family that you were stuck with someone that people don't trust at EOR, the only real choice in the matter the rest of you had was voting him leader.  I'm trying to come up with a way to allow individuals to decide who they work with rather than randoming in and getting stuck with whoever, posted it in ideas forum yesterday.
