Topic: New Changes *thoughts*

I would like to take the chance to express my opinion about the new changes and would encourage others to also share their thoughts to help the mods make the correct adjustments for the following rounds. 

Firstly thanks to the mods for being bold with changes and lets hope we can see more upcoming.

The IA rounds I have to admit have been a huge success.  I strongly believed that Naps were killing this game, and mods I can't urge you strongly enough to eradicate all Naps from IC.  I believe we need to rebuild a code of trust and honor in this game so we should allow players the chance to call a cease to attacks without signing anything in-game.  Yes this can lead to rather unsavoury actions, but that's part of the game and leaders have to learn and adapt to it.

Second to that having the chance to create alliances has brought renewed interest into the game. 

Morale on ops - I'm afraid I think this needs to be scrapped.  I don't recall hearing many complaints or issues about ops apart from those who are not wise enough to protect themselves, so I'm a bit baffled to why the op system has been changed. 
I want to PI an enemy attacker and it's costing me 43% morale per hit.  - if this was tested prior to release, it should never have been released...

The issue of farming small families is not really an issue at all.  there will always be small families, and they will always be farmed.  I think any small family with a smart leader can prevent farming to an extent, but it's not really a fixable issue.  It's like trying to change sport so everybody is a winner.

I'd like to finish by throwing in an idea myself - Called the P-mode experiment

I think a leader should be allowed 3 p-mode points per round where at any time he can place one of his family members under protection for 24 hours - in which time this player can not be attacked - buildings/portal construction is frozen until the player is out of protection - but production remains the same.

About the morale changes, i like the idea of it, but i still think the formula should be changed a bit though.

A small fam with 3 active players with all 100k networth can fight a topfam with 12 active people.
The attacker of the 3 men fam can farm a smaller banker, lets say 40k networth from the topfam, hit 30 planets in 1 tick and barely loses morale. To retrieve those planets, an attacker from the bigger fam, having 50k networth, loses over 20% morale on each planet he takes from a 100k attacker.. besides that the guy is bigger, it also can't even take 6 planets in 1 tick, and has to wait 1 whole day to regain morale.

I think morale should look way more to the size of the player and less to the families they are in.

I also think there should be a maximum of 25% or something on moraleloss.. in the families and galaxies we have at the moment, taking 4 planets in 1 tick is nothing.

A good friend will come bail you out of prison, but a true friend will be sitting there next you saying, "Damn, that was fun!"

on the new moral i think it is ok if the bigger guy or family hits 1st, but think it needs to be changed if a smaller hits 1st, had a guy hitting me but to hit him it would cost me over 40 moral, just a thought, family was able to retrieve planets, but i could lose 5 or 6 planets( at start of round before portaled) but could only hit back 3 times and then i would be in negative

Sounds like attackers are going to have to stop doing bomber r unns and try to take planets with one  attack. Running someone fleet is going to be a lot harder.

in our 1st war, tried to do retakes, made about 7 attacks and now will only be able to try to do retakes every 4 hrs, by the way i am in top family, family hitting us #2, guy trying to retake is twice as big as me but still takes 18 moral pts to hit back
