Big rule to change without letting anyone know. People in the know certainly could have (and I have heard indeed did) take advantage of this.

You are all assuming they have changed the rule, it was publicised as one figure and was reported as a bug.

I don't know for sure as I haven't asked a mod, but just perhaps it is a bug that has been fixed by Stefan and not an interference by mods? I am not sure, but I doubt it is something mods can change mid round.

Nevertheless someone changed it and clearly hasn't taken claim to doing so. We had all realized it was actually 75% by now and have been playing as that - now that it is 60% it's a big change to make when we've committed two weeks to the round and strategy.

Well Sushi, beginning of the round it was 75% and since DEvilz mentioned it its 60%. So apparently this is something that can change during the round, wouldn't ya say seeing these facts?.

Any communication from the mod team/developers would be appreciated, it is not that too much to ask is it not? Seeing this is something that got pointed out 3 rounds back already...

Sushi is correct, it's not something we have any ability to change, only Stefan can change it. As for a mod not announcing it, the round was announced as being 60% and the bug was fixed. I wasn't present when the bug was fixed but shortly after a post was made in here by someone letting everyone know about it.

Now if the mods/developers would also be kind to block opps vs. people below 60% of your own NW.

Like now the players who are waiting for people who are on 59% of their NW, to grow into their range, can still opp people smaller than 60% of their own NW. That shouldn't be possible, right?

Also, seeing the new map and that pulsar/yama's aren't needed anymore. The window that attacks are open should be shortenend heavily, which is 72h now, should be 48h max, maybe even shorter

Before I go to the dark room again, let me tell you about the bug in the inbox/outbox of the messages that you will not see more than the 25 first messages.  It happened exactly after I posted my last one here, when I was looking for an interesting message  (that I could not find obviouzly).  Well that message talked about how certain player explored 1 planet in an empty system and the planet happened to be a morale planet, how lucky eh?  Well the problem comes when my interlocutor tells me exaclty the same about the same player when he took a planet off him that he had explored in an empty system.
Well the "so misteriously lucky" player in question is a member of the modteam, I wont say anymore, just that my interlocutor has no access to forums or to irc to even contact a mod, like if his account was hacked.

Render stop it with your conspiracy theory nonsense. If you could actually see what our mod interface lets us do you wouldn't be sounding off like this. We cannot change anything once round starts - that requires Stefan. We can barely change anything before round starts, only physical attributes like size, length of round etc (the things that get posted in the announcement thread).

We cannot under any circumstance see where resource bonuses are, fleet is, morales are etc. Stefan can, but he will only look at these when investigating a bug, such as stationed fleet disappearing.

Render you have no clue what you are rambling on about. I asked Stefan to fix the bug, however I didn't know he had fixed it or there would have been a post. We can't change anything like that, we can't see what planets are morales, we can't see how much fleet someone stations. Stop acting like you know what we can see and what we can do. We do have mod tracking which we can see what the other mods are doing.

But you must admit that with out some sort of announcement, before the change, and only haveing that one bug fixed out of all the others!, does look very strange.

Why only fix this one little bug, which ppl had adapted too, (defensively ) only to change it, thus starting a feeding fest for those that did know of the change, before anything was posted
