Why would you add two more slots, instead of using those 16 new slots to make two new families? Don't you realise everyone wants more families? no one enjoys this 8 family garbage.

yes but we are almost up to 10 players per fam. I think it will fill by Fri. At least everyone will have had a fair chance to join and the bugs should be out.

This coming after his previous post was asking to vote him leader blah blah. Long story short this community in this game is trash and has been for years, reason I could care less about it and barely even attempt. This isn't a post about myself though as I know I'm not popular and could careless, however a post to demostrate how th e integrity of players and the game has gotten and a reason for why the player base is so small and nearly non existent. So continue on lol too bad I can't put up a Michael Jackson eating popcorn meme lol

Previously before this ridiculous post I was in croizs fam (not his actual fam however we elected him leader) seems since I did not want to follow his "orders" to change my name to something I could careless about I was being "difficult" and needed to be killed off lol

ya thats lame of lee. people need to find a way to have fun no matter what type of fam you play in. shit gets boring if your always playing for the win. some of the best rounds i've had are being in small fams
also - just change your name if your fam is going into a theme - we all know you would be pissed if it was for years ago and someone wouldn't change for you. Random Hero is getting old anyways 
Something this game 's got a lot of is peer pressure and bullies. but I gotta admit it IS annoying when you give people 3 days to change a silly name- lay the plan out for them- and peeps act like they've never played before by taking forever to respond etc. or no response. Or just by going off on their own thing.
The thing in this game is to find balance.
Work together. Treat it like a job if you have to. most treat peeps better at work then when they are at home on the net.
There is a way to speak to people. Use it. Not everybody wants to be spoken to like they are one of your best dumbass friends. Some peeps like a level of courtesy and respect.
The average player age on this game is above 25 I dare say.
Use some diplomacy in everyday affairs- to include especially the forums
Yea flip but "themes" are outdated , lame, and we're cute like 8yrs ago ... kinda went out of style. Furthermore this game in the rules never said "you must have a theme! Cannot play ss! Or have any mind of your own!" Erm little exaggerated but ya get the idea and I agree with "fam bank" system but that's not required either to have fun, but oh god if someone doesn't go along with it ... you must kill him off lol

im leading a family now. we are using theme but i dont demand others to change nick. if they want to go ss, ok. if they dont wanna use fam bank, then ok. i cannot force others, but yeah, i get pressured by other fam members to kill them off and i dont want to, thats not how IC is suppose to be.

most who cant be bothered with themes and name changing don't do well usually in pushing the buttons to do other things. They don't want to play with the fam so much as just play. They are unreliable.
Following those simple traditions shows a readiness, a willingness, to play, be flexible, follow directions, obey orders.
To be competitive we need these things in teamwork during game play
Well, since my comeback, I have played as I please and mostly SS. Have had fun! Leaders have accepted this without any trouble, because either I have been in a small fam or leader thinks I can pull my SS shizz off.
So, my advice is, if you want to do your own thing, do it in a small fam or do it well. No need to be in a #1 fam and win a round to have fun. If you end up in a #1 spot fam, it is not your fault with the current setup.
Also, if you don´t like themes, you can always be "diplomatic" with silly themes. Fam before reset had "Swords" theme which was kinda cool and Glamdring name worked well with my Pax race. Now my fam has "Batman" theme (instructions said, pick a character from Batman Movies) and I think it is quite trivial thing. But, instead of refusing to follow suit, I opened IMDB, checked out the cast and roles. Now I am "Sewer Thug #2" from Dark Knight Rises. Statement made, theme followed, had my fun with the theme.
@Swagga: Maybe my fam leader also realises from my actions that I am not here for him/her or the fam, but to have fun. So, obeying orders is not high in my list of priorities (but it is there). Yes, I am unrealiable. Leaders should however realise that I am not working against the fam as SS. I do not break CFs or unofficial NAPs or otherwise try to hurt the fam. I try to contribute my NW and planet amount to fam´s score too. I may stop fighting in a war if I think it is unjust or I may decide to continue my SS-no-aid-given-or-received policy even when fam makes war jumps, if I (can and) want to fight in a war too. I am funny that way. I think I have right to do things and make decisions on my own. Whenever I lead a fam, I let others have those rights too and I consider my "commands" as merely suggestions of how things could be done in the fam scale. I try to remember to say "please" and "thank you" often.
This was supposed to be short answer to current topic, but it kinda got out of hand...
Basicly, don´t take the game too seriously. Also, be a lion, not a lamb.
