This man was in charge of a $50 million budget and he lied to make it seem like Polar Bears were in danger.

When the worlds expert on Polar Bears said he was full of bunk it started falling apart. Years later he is finally getting canned.


This is not going to be the last, and eventually those merely fired will be pleased they were not prosecuted like those who will see a jail cell in their future for this giant fraud.

The department for research on arctic shrinking was back near 2001, and the $50 million was a gross estimate of research grants spent from that time till today.

The Foxnews story left out a LOT of information on the money earned/spent over a decades worth of research, and not all of that money was through government.  A bit of that money was from public and private donations in the entertainment sector.  I think George Clooney even donated $1.2 million over a period of several years into the scientific trust fund, which oversees the project.  So once again Foxnews doesn't relate ALL the facts.

So, not only did he not lie, he's not being prosecuted and instead of going to jail like you suggested he actually claims his work was sabotaged and filed lawsuits against the government.

He did not get vindicated, he got a payout to go away.

I would like to believe Einy if this does prove a turnaround.  But we have decades worth of research stating the Germans are idiots.  NOW, IF, future sattelite imagry shows the ice packs GROWING, in 5 years time, then the research of the germans would be properly vetted.  However last years satellite imagery shows the germans are morons.

Research based on guesswork, is still nothing more than guesswork.

Long term science is just that.  Long term.  In order to validate the arguement, we would have to see actual satellite proof that the icecap was growing.  And that takes years.  So, we'll have to wait...possibly 2-3 DECADES to show a cycle like effect, that the north polar ice cap would be on the rebound. 

And even NASA can postulate on what could happen.

I could postulate that the Dodgers are going to win the World Series for five years a row...that doesn't mean it really could happen, because you really can't predict the future until your standing in it.

Can you point to 100% accuracy for the date of January 1st, 2014 of what the Polar Ice cap will look like?  Just you.  2015? 2016? 2017?

No, you couldn't, why?  Because those years have not happened yet, and we can not guess accurately what the ice cap will look like in those years.  Can you guess what the polar ice cap would look like in 27+ years down the road?  Guessing games.

If, if, the polar ice cap were to grow, in the next 2-3 decades, and then it starts to shrink 2-3 decades after, THEN we will have proven a cycle.  And then, and only then could we state there there is an El Nino, and an El Nina when it comes to climate change.  Which would then debunk the whole Global Warming being man made.  But this is long term science.  This is decades of research.  This is decades of emperical science.  Observed science.

Theories are not facts until proven.  And even the proven facts, can be replaced by new theories, making newer facts.

World was flat.  The world was round.  The world is egg shaped.

THERE IS NO SATELITE EVIDANCE for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 all the way up to 2040!

There is no GOD DAMN SATELLITE proof for those fricken years!

And one damn year does not show a TREND!  And a fricken model by one PH.D piece of crap professor is not proven fact!

Dr Spencer does not appear to have published his findings? I did a quick search and couldn't find it online - reading the article gives the impression that he has a chip on his shoulder (?), which suggests prior motivation to find certain conclusions (?)

As to the Nasa images, I note that they stop at 2006 and that other images on the NASA site, which are from more recent times, show a much more dramatic loss in ice, though it appears that the image Flint showed was the maximum ice and the images below are minimum... not sure as it is not clear on flints link (below is clear that it is minimum ice)
