@xeno:
"but in inglix, lukilE, cer R apArentlE OnlE 44:"
No, that is only the case if you really try to have 1 character for every sound even the sounds that are now combinations. It really is more difficult, especially cause we are not used to the system. Also it merely replaces one sound with another whereas in the other examples (getting rid of qxc) gets rid of excess letters for sounds we already have one for.

"wE hav 26 letrs in cE alfabet.  bI yUzing cu kapitolz az saOnds, wE naO get 52 letrs.  wE olsO hav 10 numbrz, wiq kin giv us a tOtal uv 62 yUsful kRaktrs tU yUz tU reprEzent fOnEmz."
Although it might be fun to play with letters, I don't understand why you do the opposite of what we tried to do now: You make it more complicated and more difficult to learn. By using capitals you add an -easy as it might be- extra character. You add more characters and rules to the game instead of simplifying it. Often I agree with your basic idea, but your solutions still require some extra work. I hope you don't take that as an insult cause it really isn't. You brainstorm about it and it is only logical that out of 10 new ideas 1 will be winner. At least you dare to think about it where most people don't and I respect that.

@einstein:
"ultimately our goal should be to reduce language to as few as possible, thus we become computers speaking"
ultimately our goal should be to bring more logic in your language. To reduce the alphabet and getting rid of 3 excess letters that share a sound with other letters does just that. To reduce the amount of letters isn't a goal in itself.

Getting rid of QXC is easy and is really all I ask for right now.
It is not a difficult rule. Its not radical. Its not difficult to read or write, in fact even people who know English by hart can learn to write it in 1 minute, 2 if they are slow. You can easily read it without extra effort. But speaking economically the gain would be tremendous.

After 4 days, you won't even notice it anymore as it is almost similar:
It is not a diffikult rule. It is not radikal. Its not diffikult to read or write, in fakt even people who know English by hart kan learn to write it in 1 minute, 2 if they are slow.

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.

It is much slower for someone who knows the old system. That is why it will never happen, ironically nobody will accept it.

A second reason is the fact you make it more complicated although faster to write. Combinations of sounds are better left to as many characters as possible so kids can learn to pronounce them. Its easier to learn tsjek then ceck cause a child will also learn how to pronounce it easier after learning t, s and j.
