Topic: Taksim Square

Normally, the local television news is about a miss election or a horse that got into the canal by accident. But these days, all you hear about is the Taksim square!

What do all those Islamic-oriented nations have to do with large central squares? Can't they be original and occupy an unknown building or farm? They're obsessed with squares like Zarf with trains!

I propose to build a large mosque inside each square to prevent these annoying events from happening and the appointment of Justinian as head of police to crush anyone who wants to obstruct.

That will teach them a lesson to intervene with our normal news broadcast.

Re: Taksim Square

I believe the squares are in front of mosques.
they're there for people to worship because you can't get the whole city inside

Re: Taksim Square

On a more serious note, I wonder what will happen. He can't use a lot of force without international condemnation yet  the protest doesn't seem to be large enough to have an all out revolt. I think it will remain status-quo for a while.

Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.

Well, the Brits betrayed them. You know, their "Balance of power" crap. The Greeks were whooping the Turks until they ran out of money.

Stop pointing the finger at individual nations for the problems throughout Europe. We all know that it is the international banking cartels pulling the strings.

We should all join the EU, or better yet, a one world non-elected government should be established. That will solve EVERYTHING!

Re: Taksim Square

"a one world non-elected government"
non-elected = elected by one or a few man?

And I thought I was being sarcastic with this thread.

The path forward is to make me autocrat of the world. I'll fix everything, no worries.

Key is captain of the imperial guard, so you can all have insurance that I won't go all corrupt on you.

I'm sure he'll be in the front line soon enough.
