Assuming Arby is Dark Link.

Keerb investigated Arby, and Dark Link investigated Keerb. Technically according to the player roles, Link's investigation is nullified if both Link and Dark Link target the same person, so Keerb's investigation on Arby should have been successful. Yet he apparently said it was blocked.

But because they targeted each other I think Nick decided to nullify the investigation anyways, this is what i'm guessing.

Incorrect. I was targeted by both Keerb and DarkLink. That's why it was blocked. I do not know why I was targeted, except that in #mafia night 1, after I had messaged both Keerb and Wendy, Keerb was saying that he was cop and I was suspect mob. Nobody would have believed him, saying he was cop night 1. That was a total Flint move. After night phase was over, that's when Keerb told me he investigated me and it was blocked. I still didn't believe him, but the plan was to investigate me again the 2nd night, since DarkLink couldn't target anybody because he was successful.

Unfortunately, I went to dinner and wasn't on chat. KT was arguing that she was town quite well, so I figured her for town so I switched off her vote to Wiwi (because he had just voted me in his drunken rage). I then went shopping, so didn't get home until after end of the phase. I figured KT would be the lynch and not Keerb, and since I only pegged her for a townie, it wouldn't have been a substantial loss. Unfortunately, they both died in the last few phases along with Wendy.

Ask Skyro said, I am being setup. Mob is doing well. You can lynch me, I'm not against that, but you'll just lose a normal townie.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

What?

I would have thought Keerb investigated Arby and Dark Link would have picked Arby (story only suggests that Dark Link prevented the investigation.  Not that Keerb was picked, if you read the role descriptions).  Then because Dark Link successfully picked who Keerb picked, Keerb didn't get an investigation.  Then he approached and asked Arby why.

This was the stupid move by our cop, sadly.  He shouldn't have asked in public.  In fact, he shouldn't have asked at all.  He needed to retain his identity.  Bad move by Keerb.

Also, just cos Dark Link picked someone, doesn't mean they're "protected by Mob".  Why would Dark Link only pick mobs to block the investigation on?  That would defy the purpose of blocking...

Worse than the bad move by Keerb though, was Josh posting it in forums and Nolio voting with.  Because at that time they both realised that Keerb "could" be link.  Yet they oust him and get him lynched.  Does that mean they're mob, no not confirmed.  But Josh is new and still not fully aware of his bad move.  Nolio, however, I'd expect more of.

And yeah, I was initially going off on what Keerb messaged me before he was lynched when I was away at work. But now having read through the logs of the day, and others input, it does seem plausible it was just noobish cop play.
