Inactivity is a curse.
Charles was flabbergasted at the symphony of noise, the smell of the nearby carnival and the sheer scope of the events. Sure he could break into any house but usually he needed the person he was looking for to get scandulous information. Who would fund such a level of gaitey? Surely that person would be a good blackmail target.
Somusing his typical wit and charm he started asking questions, finally he got an adress.
Arriving he was met by a slightly overweight individual who said "My employer shall return shortly, if you wish a seat." to which Charles gratefully agreed to. How shocked he was upon seating that a garrote was thrown around his neck.
"When you dance with the Holmes family you should get to know us all Charles. For instance I am Mycroft Holmes and you will bother us no longer!" Said the portly man.
Charles reached for his knife, and desperately swung backwards then up at the garrot. He barely cut it free... spjnning he saw Mycroft toss something into the fireplace and grab a fire poker. "I was champion of my school in fencing and time in the medieval reenactors guild also taught me other swords play" called Mycroft. He seemed to give way near the fireplace where another poker was positioned.
Charles dodged a quick swing, and hurried to grab his own poker. In the fire place he noted a small brass canister with a tube on the end. He turned and met the next swing on his own. "I toured France briefly, unguard" he said.
Charles however was shocked to see a grin on his opponents face, and a defensive prose. His surprise turned to pain as the portable oxygen supply blew up and sprayed him with shrapnel. Oh how that hurt! But his final surprise was seeing the poker enter his mouth in an upward direction. Then he knew no more.
Nolio, aka Charles Milvrrton, is dead
After random roll player 1 was killed.
was it a double kill
what did the dice role flint?
Flint, was there a dice roll or did you ignore the tie?
After 3 hours I am off for a few days. Things will be a lot smoother then
nevermind ![]()
It was a 3, Nolio died.
I checked before posting.
Is your dice only 4 or 5? Twice now only one player has died. Sheesh what bad luck ![]()
Yes a 4 first time, 3 second time. Just random roles of the dice.
Tbh I wanted a 5, that would have made me laugh so hard, but it rolled a 3, lol
Langdale Pike enjoyed his position as gossiper and rumormonger. That he got to write it in the papers as well made him happy.
Recently he was publishing stories exposing Moriarty and some of his plans. Moran was even tracked down due to information Langdale Pike had obtained! He was one of Sherlock Holmes most useful, if a bit annoying, associates.
He was in his office setting up his printing press. He was looking for an s for his current block when the bell rang at the door as someone entered the office. "I will be right with you, just need to finish this section".
"Oh no hurry Mr. Pike, I can wait. What's the story this time?" came back the reply.
"Oh I found some juicy information about Moriarty and his plots, things I found at Charles Milvertons place. Can you believe even Sherlock did not know where he lived?"
"Oh that is most curious, could you give hints as to the meat of the story?" the man replied calmly.
"Why I found out about these diary pages, I have about half the cypher as well, and it shows some of the nobility are being very bad on my one page!" exclaimed the excited Langdale. He had also just then found an s for his press.
"I was afraid you might get a bit far, the press seems very skilled in finding that which should not be found" says the visitor.
This confused and worried Langdale greatly, so he slowly turned around to see who the visitor was, despite not having placed the s yet.

Later that night as the children arrived to get their stacks of papers for the next days edition they found not Langdale Pike running the press, but a short, sharp faced man in a nice English Businessmans Suit. He told them he was filling in for Langdale who was off getting a top notch story and that they should take their papers and go.
When they reached their assigned space they took the water proof coverings off to find a headline story "Sherlock Holmes is a FRAUD!"
HydroP, the innocent townie, is dead
It is now DAY PHASE!
I vote Keerb - if it weren't for another shitty dice roll, you would have died last night. I base this vote on SSL "prepping" his mobbies before he died. Keerb has never played a mob role and has been extremely quiet this entire time - standard noob mob play. If that was SSL's prep, it was turrible ![]()
FYI - I have nothing to base this on due to Mycroft playing his stupid role last night. Just a gut feeling that Hydro also believed in.
I'm not even sure what to say other than voting me would be a mistake.
TBO has been more quiet than usual, jumping bandwagons, no explanation. It's the best idea I have currently..
Voting TBO
i vote genesis.
why?
cause i can ![]()
sorry keerb, but HydroP has lead the town to take down many of the mob and sk, i dont see any reason to go against his dying wish ![]()
voting keerb ![]()
Vote is on Keerb.
Voting Oxygen.
