Modestus Experitus

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Right in the center of town laid the General Store. For 30 years it had been owned by slifty and he had turned it into a thriving part of the community. With the new laws in town where no guns were allowed to be carried, all of the townspeople finally felt safe barring the feud going on. It was particularly hot this Sunday afternoon and the store was not very busy due to all of the good folks going to church. The occasional drunk would stagger out of the saloon, but other than that it was a very quiet day. Little Michael, KT’s son, was the first to burst out of the church and headed straight for the General Store. He loved the candy sold there and his mother had told him that if he was good in church he would get some. He happily rushed into the store and headed straight for the candy section. “Wal, welcome back yung’un!” gleamed slifty, “you go on and pick out what’cha want and I will let y’ore mother know how much it is.”

All the sudden a shadow appeared in the doorway blocking the sunlight as Galeonis walked in. He had just rode into town and decided not to turn in his guns. Slifty nervously looked at him and informed he that the guns were not allowed in his store. Angrily Galeonis glared at him and pulled his gun out pointing it at slifty. “Who do you think you are talkin to?” he hissed, “As a matter of fack, since you wan run your mouth so much, why don’tcha just give me all the money you got in y’ore register and we will call it square!”

From outside the store Oxygen had seen Galeonis enter with his guns and quickly decided to come check out the situation. He snuck up to the door and peeked in just in time to see Michael come around the corner with a bag full of candy. The gunman seeing the boy snarled and grabbed him, putting his gun to his head. He quickly yelled at slifty “If ya don’t give me tha money I am goin to have’ta kill this here boy!” Oxygen seeing the dire situation quickly retreated looking for a weapon of any kind. He found a large piece of wood lying on the ground next to the trough and picked it up wielding it to fight. Suddenly there was a gunshot from inside the store and Galeonis came bursting out with his gun in one hand and Michael in the other. KT seeing her son in his arms shrieked in fear and came running after him. Quickly Galeonis fired towards KT missing her but managing to frighten her enough to look for cover. All the sudden Oxygen came up from behind Galeonis and with one quick swing of the board slammed it into the back of his head. Michael was instantly released from his arm from the sheer power and shock of the hit and as he spun around to pull his gun on the assailant he received yet another blow, this time to his temple. The latter blow was enough to knock him senseless and his gun slumped out of his fingers onto the ground as blood started pouring down the side of his face. Struggling to maintain consciousness he dropped to his knees groping for his pistol. Finding it he started to pull it up and search for his assailant even though he could barely see due to the blackness in his vision and the blood streaming down into his eyes. Just as he was acquiring Oxygen in his sights he felt himself falling to the ground. He was not sure why he was falling because he did not feel anything. He fell over onto his back in time to see Oxygen making one last swing with the board this time landing it on his throat. He would slowly choke on his own blood before giving in to the cold nights ahead.
Galeonies the regular town prick would never pick on anyone else again.

Re: Mafia 39: Living in the West was harder than you think!

Cleo didn't take no crap!  She had managed the cleanest ladies house in Tombstone since 1879.  Her girls were vetted, honest and pliable.

"Thanks Cleo!"  Behan said, as he softly shut the front door behind him and stepped out onto the boardwalk.

He pulled a thin cheroot from his vest pocket and lit it with a match, puffing slowly and rhythmically.

A town hobo rounded the corner chasing a chicken down the street...the bird dodging the man's downward swipes with moves that an NFL running back would be jealous of.

Behan smiled to himself until he recognized him as the one that was going through his bag the other night.  His eyes narrowed in anger until he saw the blood running down the homeless man's right side.  He reached into his pocket and gripped the pen knife inside of it.

Behan stepped off of the walk and sharply called out, "You there stop!"

The hobo stumbled to a stop, the chicken still cackling as it fled out of sight.

"Two things, sir.  According to town ordinance you must show evidence of support upon demand, please present said evidence now please."

The hobo glared at the Sheriff,  "You ain't no town Marshall.", he spat as he turned to walk away.

Behan grabbed the hobo by his malnourished arm and softly repeated, "I said stop."

The hobo jerked his arm away and swung his fist toward Behan's temple.  It was over in a flash.

Genesis the town hobo and loyal "citizen" dropped dead to the dirt with a single muffled cry

After my reasoning for voting Xara last night and she didn't get lynched I'll stay on her. Either mobbish or stupid play. Either way, good riddance.
