Re: Mafia 39: Living in the West was harder than you think!

I am not mob nor sk, I am just proving something. smile So if you lynch me you will be lynching a townie.

~~Lemming of leather and lollipops~~

Right, so what are we waiting for?  Can we get this going?  Any other feedback?

Re: Mafia 39: Living in the West was harder than you think!

Tough call, with 4 mobsters it will be much harder for them to affect the bandwagons. And I see two bandwagons steaming on under Einstein and KT. So maybe one of those is the GF that was blocked over night. I will reserve my vote for now, there are still a couple of hours to decide. Hopefully someone can convince me one way or the other.

Re: Mafia 39: Living in the West was harder than you think!

After much talking in chat I am going to vote for Flint. KT seems to want to die a little too much, I think that she is probably a townie trying to mix things up a bit, or the sk. Flint is, well, Flint. The majority of the reasoning for Flint seems to centre around an overreaction to an obvious troll. Flint did seem to go off the deep end, so perhaps the others are right and he is mob. All I can hope is that he is th GF and that the RB has started a townie bandwagon on him.

My vote is for Flint.

Yeah, KT never WANTS to die, so I agree with your assumption for now.

Changing vote again, to somebody random....Oxygen! You're my homeboy, so I'll hold your hand for awhile.

I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Re: Mafia 39: Living in the West was harder than you think!

Flint, crying like a lil girl in forums is always going to get you pegged as mob. Two rounds ago I was right to hold my role from you for the point that you have previously opened your mouth and gotten innocent ppl killed. You definately havent learnt tbh, still harping on about being treated unfairly in a game of mafia hmm roflmao, good luck with that.

In saying that, our lil chat last night is the only thing stopping me from voting you at the moment. If you dont pull your head in ill be more than likely voting you next day phase, if youre still around.

KT i think has more to hide at the moment. Overly chirpy? Trying to hide something? IDK. First day lynch is always a lil random.

Voting KT

Re: Mafia 39: Living in the West was harder than you think!

LOL Flint, I've seen how you have played since you started playing, no one has influenced my opnion of how you play other than you. UD & Primo tried playing the "dumb female" card on me a cpl o rounds back, which proved entirely untrue & now you are attempting something similar because we/I'm not convinced you're trustworthy? Well forgive me for thinking for myself & not being "beaten" into submission to anothers POV no matter how they attempt that. If for whetever reason you feel I have intended you malicious harm, I can assure you, you're very much mistaken.

Back to this round & who I am voting for, I vote for Remo, no particular reason as I have nothing much to go on right now.

Also, KT has convinced me that she is not mob or SK through her chats in #mafia these past couple of hours.  If she's playing a non-town role, she's either playing it brilliantly or very stupidly.

I'm switching to Flint.

It was late evening in Tombstone Arizona, and the town was winding down...and up for the nights festivities.

Inside the saloon, Zarf turned and leaned down from his bar stool to spit tobacco colored spittle onto the floor while staring lustily at the young couple donning their coats and preparing to leave after a sumptuous dinner of passenger pigeon, pinto beans and corn mush.

"Hey Einstein!", he bellowed.  "Your wife shore is purty!  I'd like to get me some of that!"

Einstein spun angrily around, his white fists clenched and quivering at his sides.

"Go home Zarf!  You're drunk!" he said through clenched teeth.

Zarf slowly stood and stalked forward until he was within a few feet of Einstein and his young bride, his hands behind his back.  He stared at the moron who'd dared to talk back to him, his right eye twitching slightly.  The other patrons quickly backed away from what they smelled to be a fight, and the bartender set his rag down to slowly reach underneath the bar and grip his short barreled shotgun.

After a few seconds that were pregnant with tension, Zarf jerked his left foot forward slightly.  Einstein instinctively snapped his right side back, his hand reaching into his hip holster for the pistol that...wasn't there!  He was a law abiding citizen and had checked his gun at the livery according to the new town law!  The motion was enough for Zarf though, who grinned with broken and crooked teeth as he cocked and drew the small pocket pistol concealed behind his back and in a flash of movement extended both arms with one forearm supporting his gun hand, and shot with both barrels into Einstein's torso spinning him against the wall.

By this time the bartender had drawn his shotgun and was aiming it at the shooter.  "Stop right there!" he cried. Zarf threw up his hands, dropping the empty pistol to the floor.

Wyatt and Warren burst in through the swinging doors to arrest Zarf and take witness testimony.  With a cold sinking feeling in the pit of their stomachs they knew they could only fine him and hold him overnight until Sheriff Behan reviewed the case.  Zarf would be found guilty of violating the town ordinance, intimidation, and disorderly conduct but would not be charged for murder and released tomorrow if he had the money to pay the fines.  According to the witnesses, Zarf had been an ass, but Einstein had provoked the...legal...shooting.

Einstein, the loyal and very disgruntled town citizen, is now dead.

[NB: Just for clarity, Zarf is NOT playing this round.  He was written in for my amusement. tongue]

pretty shitty that people target flint for a single error in judgement and personal quirks

Re: Mafia 39: Living in the West was harder than you think!

Shitty.... shitty does not define it. They are involved in character assassination pure and simple over a single event. If there were decent mods they would start handing out ban notices if the bahvaior continued. It is going beyond the game.

^Those are the ones who "character assassinated" you as you claim. If pushing players to talk, and get their reaction will be against the rules of future mafia games, then the games themselves will be done.

Re: Mafia 39: Living in the West was harder than you think!

Mattie let the door bang closed behind her as she stepped off of the boardwalk with a spring in her step.

"Thanks again George!" she purred as she pursed her lips and exhaled, puffing out a flirty lover's kiss to George Spangenberg, the town's only Gunsmith, as he locked his place up and headed for home.

She blinked away the lamps' after-images as her eyes adjusted to the inky blackness. She almost felt bad for keeping George in his shop so late, well almost, until the voice inside of her skull demanded silence.

You see...Mattie loved her family very much; her aunt Margarete, her sister Sarah...especially Mamma Hatford the grandmother who had taken her and Sarah in when they ran away from home while they were oh so young.  She had missed them all so achingly much, until lately when amazingly enough they had begun to visit her again.  She smiled warmly as she slipped the letter from her handbag and turned to her right to walk down the boardwalk to the Post Office.  She grew closer to its entrance...the lights inside blazing cheerily into the darkness.......................

"Ma'am?", a familiar voice called softly into the darkness.

Mattie blinked as her eyes lost their fogginess and she stared ahead of her at the darkened Post Office in front of her.  It was open just a second ago!

She turned slowly around, her boot heels crunching the gravel underneath them with a clacking sound that smelled like a freshly buttered roll.

Everything swam before her vision...she felt so confused!

"Mattie!", drawled Doc Holliday, "What are you doing back in town!  It's not safe!"

Doc firmly gripped her upper arm and tried to get her off of the street, glancing to his left and right to see who may be watching.

Mattie peered at the face to her right, her eyesight now crystal clear...or so she thought.

"Clyde!", she hissed. He'd somehow found her...after 5 years of running from him, her twisted Uncle Clyde...the reason she and Sarah had ran away from home...had found her.

From Fremont Street, Sheriff Behan turned the corner and stopped, his head cocked slightly to one side as he watched the scene before him unfold, his hand in his vest pocket.

Turning the corner from Allen street Wyatt Earp and Sadie Marcus stopped and also stared in front of them.  They had just had a pleasant evening at Hafford's and were on their way home.

"Damn you for what you did to me Clyde!", Mattie spat furiously at Doc Holliday.

Doc took a step back, shaking his head in confusion.  "Mattie...what's wrong?"

"Mattie?", Wyatt called out in surprise.

"Mattie Blaylock!  Enough is enough..tonight you'll be ridden out of town on a rail...even if it's me that has it done!", barked Sadie, her eyes narrowing as she reached into her handbag and clutched the pistol inside of it as she quickly walked forward.

The enraged Mattie reached inside of her dress and drew the shiny new pistol she had just purchased and levelled it at Doc Holliday. "No more, you bastard!  Leave me alone!"

Sheriff Behan gently and silently pulled the pistol from his waistband and aimed it carefully downrange in front of him at the combatants.  "Stop right there folks!  As the law in this county I demand that you all drop your weapons!"

"Shut up Behan!  I'm the one the one that has jurisdiction here", belted Wyatt.  "Doc, get her off the street!", he cried as he also drew the pistol from his own waistband and held it loosely at his side.

Sadie had finally drawn her pistol and aimed it at Mattie.  "Drop it whore!  You ain't gonna hurt my friend!"

Mattie turned her head slightly to the right and looked at Sadie........

Doc Holliday was, for the first time in his life, nervous.  He had been in more fights than he could remember but this one had him scared.  If Mattie would only move that pistol off of him he could disarm her.  He maintained his diamond hard concentration on the end of Mattie's gun.  He dimly heard a woman call out her name and watched as her head turned slightly to the right.  Now was his chance he thought, as he jerked forward to grab her gun.

Three shots shattered the night's quiet.

Doc Holliday (Ramza) and Mattie Blaylock (Remo) are now dead.

[NB: Just a bit of clarification, as this will probably be as difficult to read as it was to write...SK went after Doc, Mob went after Doc, Special role went after SK.  However one interprets the specific order of things within the story's framework the outcome is always the same.  Doc and Mattie are both dead.]

<+Gwynn|gone> oh
<+Gwynn|gone> right
<&SSL> well either way you interpret things
<+Gwynn|gone> sk on doc, doc on sk, sadie on sk
<&SSL> doc could have return killed sk

Anyway, to further clarify:

<SSL> here is what happened in the mafia roles
<SSL> sk went after doc
<SSL> mob went after doc
<SSL> sadie went after sk
<SSL> in that order
<SSL> sk beat mob to the kill
<TheBigOne> how did someone who cant be night killed, be night killed?
<SSL> doc defended himself and attacked sk
<SSL> sk was immune to nigh killing
<SSL> there is a reason i posted the story in day phase
<SSL> cause sadie then killed sk
