Gotham was in shambles.  KT walked down the street whistling, doing her best to stay in the middle to avoid the debris that still occasionally fell from half destroyed buildings.  Just getting around town was difficult enough before the earthquake, but now with all these disappearances and deaths the citizens of Gotham were ready to snap.  The thought of all the chaos set her to laughing to herself.  It was a horrid, flemish, snorty, avian laugh.

Little did she know, that on the rooftops above the citizens of Gotham had finally settled on someone to kill.  Torqez looked at Nolio as they walked away from the explosives they had placed and said, "I wonder what kind of goofy little umbrella she's carrying today?"  Nolio didn't have time to respond before the explosives went off, and the building across the street collapsed.  They ran down to get a look at their handy work and saw that finally the citizens had managed to do something right.  KT, the penguin, was dead.

The Riddler was having a great time. Batman was dead, the city in chaos, and he was getting to play all kinds of tricks on people all over the city. Tonight, he had to get serious though. They were close to capturing Gotham for themselves, and pushing it over the last edge of insanity. He gathered his things, and went out into the night.

Torqez was walking home late. He had been out in search of criminals, to help round them up as part of his neighborhood watch program. He turned his key into his front door lock, and it didn't budge. He wouldn't pull the key out either. "What in the world?" he thought, trying to figure out what to do next. A small speaker duct taped to his door knocker started speaking.

"Excuse me sir, but to get into this house, you must first answer my question correctly. What is lighter than a feather, looks like the night sky, and not safe to use on pets?"

"Um...let's see....um....I don't know. Who are you!?" Torqez screamed, still trying to get his lock to turn so he could get into his house and see who's playing this game with him.

"That is incorrect, sorry." the speaker said, and with a puff a small blast of air and glittery poison came shooting out from above Torqez, coating him in it. Frantic, and tried kicking the door in, but the poison was fast acting. His muscles started to seize, and he fell over. He realized death was imminent, and started to make peace with the world. From out of the darkness, a man strode over to him. He could not see who he was, but it did not matter. Paralyzed, cold, and his heartbeat getting slower, he was ready to die.

"That should fix you right up!" Alfred said, as he gave Torqez an antidote shot. "Just don't you move for another 1-2 hours, and you'll be good as new!". And with that, he slipped back into the night.

Two-Face was ready. It was his time to get his hands dirty. He didn't kill for fun. Not all the time, and this time it was business. He went to his target's home, but things weren't right. For some reason, he was laying out in his front yard, just off the porch. He looked down at him, checked a pulse. He was still alive, but barely, and covered in some glittery spray. "Weirdo" he thought. He pulled his .45 out of his pocket, and flipped a coin. "Tails, hmm...looks like you got unlucky tonight Torqez." He put the coin away and pulled the trigger on his  pistol 3 times, making sure the deed was done.

Torqez, a Gotham Citizen is now dead.

*for clarification, the COIN OF FATE was not used, it is just a coin flip in the story to make Two-Face behavior more accurate.

Voting Tia

Torq must've obviously played well since he was active in getting KT, who was a mob, lynched and then being hit by BOTH mob families.

As for today I'm really unsure. The voting of KT seemed to come very sudden and I'm having a hard time deriving anything from these votes since there are 2 mob families.

There's 14 players left. 3 from Mob 1, 2 from Mob 2, 1 doctor, 1 cop, and 7 townies. The town must've had an inner circle, looking at Torq's death, but not everyone is included. So I'm guessing a few of the people jumping the KT bandwagon is indeed players from the other mob family, unless someone jumped there in the last second to "prove their innocence" since KT was being lynched anyways. But there were no last minute switches, only SSL voting over an hour before dayphase was over, so this way of reasoning seems like a dead end..

Meh this is a tough one.. I'll keep it open for now and see if anything comes up further on tonight.

I had PMd him yesterday about him acting "coppish", the following of the conversation dodged the point that he either was or wasnt but I believe he was trying to make me believe he was. In saying that, I believe that he failed in convincing me of it.

Did I actually think he was cop? No.
Did I think he actually tried to make me believe he was? Yes.
Do I feel that his behaviour was mobbish? To a degree, yes.

After a long talk in chat, I am leaning towards the Tia = mob idea, mostly on the grounds of what TBO posted.  TBO now being clean in my view because of a convo i had with Torq last night, who was revealed to be town and Torq trusted TBO to be town.

Tia's convo plus her throw away vote and vote for townie so far points to her being mob, probably mob-joker.

I vote Freezy for now.

Tia doesn't seem like an ideal pick.  To me, she's playing an SSL-type role where she's just messing with the town while actually being town

I also don't understand the Hydro vote popping up; Hydro really convinced me that he's not mob via his "lynch me, idgaf" diatribe in chat earlier.

I have nothing else to go on at this point, so I'll just vote You_Fool for now.

I vote Nolio for same reason as before.

Tis funny everyone stating that the only person they trusted was Torq, and now he is dead.

11:00 Gwynedd: i thought i had someone to work with, but now they've told me they were lying. I no longer know who to trust, I was working with Torqez and now he is gone, so I've got nothing.

Torq had his hand in a lot of pies and it got him doubled up on. Not that Im insinuating these guys are mobbies but there is a weak link somewhere. They are using a dead man to try and gain the trust of the other townies.

I say we start looking at these guys a lil more closely!

In saying this Im voting for You_Fool due to the amount he has been probing in #mafia and also the above statement from him stating he spoke with Torq before his death.
