SS is really hard for some players, but it is easy if you aren't stupid. Even as a SS, try to pick up a eager player or partner up with another attacker. I agree with Yesbesyoo. It is really easy to get good size ranking playing SS. I got around 400 planets easily.
The main goal is grow huge! The start is really simple, there is nothing to it. Just make sure that you are not too eagar to war early on because you are mostly infra whoring and would lose to any true attacker. So stay close to core and infra up. - btw rc!
2-3 weeks, start knocking and pushing and getting stronger hold of outposts Get like 5-6 planets in each of your outposts. If you have only 1-2 planets in each of your outposts, they are easy to knock out. Your main job will just be cleaning yoursystems.. No need to do any real major attacks during this time. If you attack too much - your morale drains way too fast and you make too many enemies. You have to pick your fight as a SS because morale is limited.
3-4 weeks, if you are a good ss player, you should be top 10 or 20 in nw for sure. PW is too easy for that
. When this happens, start looking at tickers. During this phase, I believe the straight up custom attacker race excel more than the 50% income/attack race because you can whack people really easy. Pair up with a retaker or a smaller nw attacker to help you mop up. You have your fam and your allies, you just need one other person to help you to do retakes.
Sometimes you will find a system with all bankers and 1-2 attackers that are below your nw.
When that happens
1) attack couple of the bankers planets, wait until the attackers retake, then blow the attacker's planets. Then do FTP on the attacker and blow his nearby portals or cpff them
. Cpff is so damn useful. Then rape the banker in the system thats left. If more retakes occur, ask your helper to retake while you clear farther portals. Afterwards, split the rewards
.
2 rounds ago, I blew up around 30-40 planets of a small attacker so he can't retake.
By 5th week in pw, round is almost over. You are way too damn big anyways. You can fight head to head with the top attackers because they all have a huge ass fleet with a lot more funding than you. Of course you can jump your fleet to their size but it ruins your eor jump. So it is your choice to either fight the top attackers at this time or save up and avoid them and do eor jump to get to top 5 in nw.
