Yeah I was really worried for a while there, I had three close systems to you that I couldn't afford to have my DSs there lol (luck helped me). I play HC to survive, and I did, win win for me. wink

Haha yea I saw you creeping up on me and maybe my killer instinct should've told me to go for it but I think I learned this round that deep down I'm not the killer you need to be for SS haha, I enjoyed having you around.

What happened with the Dean conflict?

He gave up lol, I OH'd him for about 30ticks straight, destroy iron and research also had reduce food on him aswell lol, he managed to get out of it with about 9 planets and I got 2 systems lol. wink

Interesting you say you don't have the Killer instinct, I don't believe I have it aswell... I could have killed Dean but didn't... hmm

X10, cost of buildings half price rounded up (CF 60gc 5 iron 1 endo, that will make jumps ROI twice faster(to allow shorter rounds) and will avoid endo at 7gc, with maket limit at 70 gc)-as a test for normal gals

- number of Defense Stations available

- lenght of the round
3 weeks

- number of sectors, systems and size of the map
4 (still funny to hide at the limit of a sector)

- overall goal, if any
Special galaxies have special races, in order to avoid boring quantam, with races that can survive without market and chose with different bonuses according to playstyle as the ones I posted some times ago in Think Tank

Haha seems like mods are growing a sense of (dark) humor smile Last Orion's end ranks weren't even recorded in HoF and this round's end ranks get messed up due to early ending.

Keep going like this and maybe people will eventually stop playing to win and start playing for fun!

I just wonder how I lost about half my expos landing in your systems @ final tick =P
Even though I played this round anything but HC it was a fun round!

And @ the discussion above. Most of us have played IC for a very long time, we all should know by now to always double check ending dates in announcements and on the join galaxy page or just go to #mod and check with a mod.

I saw Forever saying it was going to end today, but I assumed it was just his way of trolling out the round. smile

btw I was Mr Slave...Oh Jeeezus Christ! I out whored Paris Hilton, that should count more than putting lemmiwinks up my b#m.

I asked to 2 mods who were online (Xara and Fd), both of them had no idea about end date but one of them (FD) checked and told me 9th as end date. I did it more than one week before since i have to arrange cash flow.

I didn't actually know exactly when it would finish, announcements only said it starts on the 9th and round length was one month....

The change of pace and strategy made it one of the best formats this game has seen. With a few tweeks i think it could be really great.
