Re: Let's talk about hate!
With Genesis closing a thread based on his opinion it is a "hate thread" I decided a political talk on hate is in order.
It is of my opinion some hate is good, some is bad, and that speech, unless it is intended to do harm, should not be silenced.
Let me be candid. I hate racism... I loathe it. I would love to be armed with a bayonet, be given legal orders to go into a crowd of racists, and be allowed to kill them all. Yes... I hate racists. Is it bad to hate racists? Not in my opinion.
I also hate people who deal drugs to children, child molestors, terrorists, Noir andcar thieves. Heck that ain't even a partial list but it will do. I also hate what Obama has done to this nation and Putin for what he does, Iran's leadership.... shoot I need to stop listing.
The point is... everyone has something they hate. Maybe they hate hunger or landmines. Maybe like Genesis (my opinion) they hate Republicans. Maybe they hate opera or rap. I hate tomatoes. Oops there I go again. But tomatoes are wretched... slimy, sourish, spongy.. ick.
Some hate is of course bad. If you hate someone for their success... also known as envy sometimes... it is a bad hate. Some people hate on children, others women. This is clearly bad in my opinion. Racism is a form of hate we all know... but in some cases for some reasons some tolerate it which confounds me. There is a lot of hate at Christians right now... which is confusing since modern day Christians are very giving and forgiving. There are some who even self hate and hurt themselves over it... hard to support that form of hate.
So is hate good or bad? I believe that hate is a contextual thing. For instance Kemp hates Communism because he knows it destroyed economies, cost tens of millions of lives, and threatened war constantly. He directly relates Communism to those (and probably more) things. In context most would not like those results, though some haters probably did.
In my view Chris hates Obamacare while Genesis can see no flaws for to him (in my view) it is the beacon of purity we should all worship. Btw I really hate this shirt I am wearing it rides up my belly a lot...... oops there I go again. I hate drugs with a passion yet Kemp (as shown extensively in our debates) is for at least some legalization.
Is there chances for hate to spill out of control? Yes indeed. If I grw a disease for bell peppers (gah, hate those to!) and destroyed most of the bell pepper crop then I am doing evil. But if I order pizzas minus peppers then I don't affect anyone negatively. If Genesis hates Republican ideals that's quite fine... but if he uses his powers to censor them whenever possible it might be a bit wrongful.
If I don't read gay porn I am not hurting someone. But if I pull the gay porn from someones hands and burn it then I am affecting them. Ergo is is our actions that we should be judged upon and not our differences.
In conclusion.... yes I hate. And since someone will bring it up yes Jesus said we should all live like brothers. He also kicked arse at the temple steps on money changers and put the smack down on a certain fig tree. So yes I hate, and I also love. We all do. Trying to say hate is banned is funny, for there is no way there is a hate free human on this planet.
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)
