Well swimming is good exercise if you want to get good at swimming, but i wanna get good at running mostly, and swimming is shit for that

Just keep in mind running deteriorates ur ligaments/cartilage in joints
Those things are built once in life and don't re-grow/repair

Yes, what Jaguar says, running puts a lot of stress on your joints which may cause early deterioration of your joints. Knees, ankles, especially when you run on hardened (concrete, asphalt, stones, etc.) ground.
In general Jaguar is always wrong, and this is no exception... i wanna run fast for this race and a half marathon in november and another in may. After that the next goal is a bikerace in june. So give tips for that please, and ditch your swimming!

Ok after some good training the last week ive manaaged to push my time to 12:28, still another 28 seconds to reach my goal!

i just did the long beach half marathon

if your serious about working out you need to vary your routines more often.
My workout plan atm some something like trying to run 5 days a week, mixing up long runs (1,5 hours+) with some temporun (around 1h) and occantionally some interval training.
By basic shape is allready pretty good, so what im trying to acustom myself to now is the longer duration of the half-marathon, and also learning my legs how to run efficiently. Thats why im trying "pile on the miles" as they say.

1 hour 52minutes... only a few weeks of training.
but then again I workout too much as it is.

update!
RUnning 5-6 times a week now for the last 2 months aprox. Hard work with working 11 hour days at work aswell, but keeps me motivated for now
...
weighing about 73 kilos, intending to keep it around that until race season starts and then squeeze off another 2-3 kgs hopefully.
