First of all, let me state i care fornication all about my planets, i am playing semi-actively in a family in pw i randommed into and liked.

But now this happens.
Lee's family (or whoever is leading it) raids my fam for a bunch of planets, not a tactic i'd use at SOR, but fair play, it happens. Then Lee comes to our chatroom saying that if we don't pay up 50 planets (out of the 300 we have) for a pnap, we're going to get wave 2 of the raid within 3 ticks.

Surely this is not what IC is these days?
If it is, no wonder we're not getting any new players... Don't you people realize that behaviour like this is killing the game?

Why not play decently. Hell, I wouldn't even have cared that much if you had taken the 50 planets, or even a 100, and then offered a nap for free. But "give 50 planets or you're dead" is just frickin low...

Also, this is not a Lee bash. I don't know, I have played with Lee in the past, and if i recall correctly he's a somewhat good guy and we got along well.
I'm sure this is a do it, or get it done to you kinda deal. But still, sheesh...

We really need a code of honour and some leaders that are willing to maybe risk a round to enforce it.

we raided you for 30 planets, which u retook immediatly.

we resent raid fleets a further 60 fleets on ur top banker.

before we was triggering we decided to come to ur chat:

we made an offer of a pnap for 40 planets, and ur fam agreed to 39 and a naked photo of TBO.

whats the problem here primo, really.

Lee gets away with this because fams are willing to pay him comp. If families start standing up to his tactics, sooner or later he'll realize that BoR raiding won't be a +EV tactic.

I agree, there used to be a code of honour that ppl followed to the letter. I would be willing to enforce a code of honour next round into my fam, without a problem.

55 was skirmishing with us before that. It's not like that raid came out of nothing.

What we actually ask for a nap is raid spoils (only 30 planets...) + an extra 9, is that so unreasonable?

its exactly how DS said it is, been skirmishing a few days, we raid, they retake, we decide to re raid but make a nap offer in the proccess.

Yeh attacks been going on for days, untill we had enough, raid 30 planets only, its not much.

We even come to discuss a nap before we triggered second wave, i know this sounds like threatening, but heck else it wouldve been war. I think we played it fair, we gave you a second chance.

So you'd rather have us raid another 100 and then have one of your bankers delete from the family because he cant handle losing some planets, instead of pnapping for a reasonable payment? It's just simple diplomacy, and has always been part of the game.

I have never ever ever demanded planets for a nap. Ever.
And I can't remember BoR raids in my early days either. You fought, you won or lost, you went on with the round.

i give out free pnaps. i did these last round whilst in a #1 fam. in the end we lost out to people who farmed/beat down little fams. so you can't win without doing this. my last round proved this as i went nice on fams and gave them decent naps.
