Yeah, I want to be back with my old fam too.

What changed in the coding to not allow the stay in family option to still be valid in pinwheel. I remember when it would alternate between stay in fam and reshuffle. I was thrilled to be able to use my new found relationships to create a better family. Btw. I was in Gundam last round.

whole IC needs to be fixed.
whats the point of setting up fams, strats and chatrooms before the day round starts anymore! waste of time and energy (glad i did not do it this time)
every mid round time there is either a reset or somthing else that [BLAM] up everything.

all this is so [BLAM] annoying!

You're right. Now, find me a developer who wants to work ungodly amount of hours on top of their already busy life. All the while doing it for free. They must remain active and be able to log at least 3-4 hours worth of programming every day and be available for the mod team to report any problems so they can be fixed asap or a some sort of solution put in place.

You find me that guy, and he gets a developer job.

Stefan does do work from time to time, but not on the scale a game creator should.

My point is, in three days we're playing, now we're waiting a couple days to get "lists" of players from last round, then we'll wait for them to be placed and then wait for the randoms etc etc etc... this time next week we're resetting because......

Easy fix, allow people the option to stay in current families.  If the stay in fam option is still bugged, allow them the same courtesy to list their players and be placed in a fam together.  This way everyone is happy and no one should have any additional whining worth the attention.  If anything, this will only increase competition

i will keep kicking that "dead horse" until it gets off its lazy ass and does something or someone like snailex and his brother or smarties gets there game up which is a copy/cat of IC so there is a game worth playing.

I'm still only bitching about Stefan and how worthless he is and im sure he knows how the community thinks about him which is probably why he never comes around the community anymore.

People are already making copy/cat games because of shitty you operate the game as it is... You are the ONLY PERSON who gets $$ from the game so i suggest you should do some ACTUAL work on the game so it isn't so messed up all the time.. And maybe then you will get more people to join you're game and give you more $..... or just suck up your dead pride and give the game up like any normal person would do at this time.... point is arby the stay in family option has been there for years so no-one is asking new coding or w/e to be added to sort this part of the game since its already there. so if the stay in family option has a glitch somehow you guys would have known this 1-2 days after round end. this is the time to let everyone know and have several days to either sort a compromise or play as normal giving whoever the time to figure out the problem. leaving players in the dark until the last hour is not very pleasant tbh.
and the only dead horse flogging thats being done as far as i can see is the constant reminder of non-paid personnel giving up their time etc etc etc. now i'm not dissing anyone for doing that at all, but what i am saying is they go into these positions with the full knowledge of the conditions beforehand, therefore the 'we dont get paid for this' statement is a moot one. so smartass comments from you are not helpful ...

wow you really should read what arby wrote and read what i wrote properly before jumping down at me like that. he made a comment that as a mod was not helpful to the situation at all. i wasn't bitching at anyone  but if you really want i can sure start. everyone that plays this game is allowed an opinion, how is it that i'm not? and i'm not even half as mean and nasty as some are. and tbh after that little outburst. i dont particularly care about your opinions either

Yes sure we knew about this 1-2 days after the round ended. We see all the bugs before hand, but we just wanted everyone to be upset.  Really?
You don't even know what you are talking about to accuse as such. We were in the dark just as much as anyone else until we tried to reset. When it didn't work we posted about it. Not sure where you were thinking it was a planned destruction of a round. You have no clue how frustrating it is on this end either. You can only see your side. I was very disappointed the links were lost because I know it was the second time it has happened. Yes mods will spend several hours getting things done to try and get you back into your same family. Why? Because it is our job,  you know,  the one we aren't paid for but I'm not reminding you cuz the horse is now dead.

Agreed. There have been HOURS spent by the mod team trying to fix this situation without developer help. What we offer of a fix, will also take HOURS to implement. We don't have a magic wand to wave and make things just happen. It takes time and actual button pushing.


As for my dead horse comment, I was speaking to TBO about the Stefan talk. He knew what I was talking about. Bitching to Stefan about fixing the game IS whipping a dead horse. His interest in IC was only enough to move the game to a new server. Consider us lucky he spent the time to do that.
