Topic: Chicago schools ban home lunches
I used to frequently take lunches to school.
Carrot sticks, celery, olives, or other vegetable with a sandwich, and something else like an applesauce, crackers, leftovers, or something.
My mom cared to make sure our lunches were made to help us grow and be healthy.
Maybe once every two weeks we could find a treat in our lunch.
I was a well toned 190 (army later beefed that up to 200) pound teen at 10th grade.
Sack and box lunches from home is a way to feed your children according to your dietary needs.
So it alarms me that the SEIU (Service Employees International Union) pushed for and got a law made for school provided lunches only. This move, designed to boost Union Employee numbers, is dispicable.
Politics in Chicago, bring your waders and a breathing aparatus!
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)
