It was pretty awesome, brought back some sci-fi, let's hope next episodes are on the same line.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

they need to stop making sci fi soaps. the reason why the original lasted so long was because it wasn't all about the drama between the members of sg-1 while they explored the universe, it was about exploring the universe, with a little drama thrown in.

Also this drama stuff seems counter-intuitive.  Didn't they cancel SG1 and Atlantis because they didn't like that the primary viewing demographic was women?  Or am I being sexist?

SG-1 had run it's course really. They could have ended it a couple of years earlier even. I loved Ben Browder in FarScape but he's no RDK.

SGA was cancelled because of declining viewers (apparently) and the audiences for SG-1 and SGA weren't in the right demographic of viewers that they wanted (apparently too old) so they were hoping SGU would appeal to a younger group of viewers (Just what young people want... painfully slow plot development and no tits or ass tongue)

If they had shown that James girl in her underwear more often who knows how long the show would have gone! Or at least some clevage shots of them.... tongue
