england has so many football stadiums already in place and that means all the other things around them are in place and ready to take capacity crowds, e.g. transport system. now with london having olympics, this is good as it means we are prepared for mass people going to london... and can simply almost repeat the process over and if anything, improve what things will go wrong (something is bound to). and England haven't had the world cup in bloooody ages.
i mean, the premier league, is one of, if not the best and biggest football league in the world, so who can deny the same country having the biggest and best competition in the world? it makes no sense not to have it here.

holland and belgium have an infrastructure that is probably better than the one in the UK, never got to host the WC before, and (especiallyy holland) has always been forerunners in football.
As for WFS, even if you don't like football, you surely will appreciate the free public transport during the tournament

Oh btw Primo i do not think holland and belgium have anywhere near the same level of infra on stadiums as the UK. And i do not think they would be able to deal with the masses of people that would arrive for it 
They have a better level of infrastructure (including public transportations), sure, stadiums are not as big as in england, but that's kinda the point of WC's, so stadiums are expanded.

And public transport is fantastic in England as any tourist will happily tell you. Also our stadiums do not need to be expanded on as we have fantastic football stadiums and as Flashy said before we have one of the BEST leagues in the world.
On top of that, the dutch are widely recognized as the best football supporters in the world. Ask switzerland, ask austria, ask germany, ask portugal.<<

Wazoo, if a country like south africa can handle it, i'm pretty sure holland/belgium can handle it. I'm not gonna look up the actual statustics of people visiting World Championships, but i'm a 100% sure holland/belgium can handle it with ease. (mostly because the sheer lot of visitors come from western europe and would probably come by train)
As for english public transport...the trains are so rediculously overprized there. You need to take a loan to be able to afford going from London to Manchester.
And I can't beleive you dare to argue English supporters are more passionate than the Dutch...
Have you even bloody seen the movies? Those are not taped in Holland, that is actually at the spot, in Austria, in Germany, whereever they play. I'm not talking about club-fans, that's not relevant to this discssion, I'm talking fans of the national team.
And as stated before, the world cup has always been regarded as a way to develop stadiums in countries that are not at the top yet. As you said, England has the biggest leagues in the world, noone will argue with that. (It needs to be said it's mostly foreigners doing it though).

I wouldn't call them useless. While everyone will be stuffed together in a stadium for about 2 hours, I'd use the free public transport to visit cities I haven't been before. Amsterdam, Liege and so on..
One main advantage of organising the world cup here:

Another (actual) advantage is that we're part of the Shengen region, so it should be rather easy and fast for European countries to fly over. That could relieve the stress on airports and such a bit more compared to Russia (for example; their passport checks are notorious)..
but you don't serve beer in pitchers, you can't possibly circulate empty and refilled pint glasses fast enough
